Hello ACD-Forum member,
I'm gonna visit Amsterdam tomorrow morning and stay until Friday night.
This is my travelogue in which I'm trying to inform about my impressions of the city and the coffeeshops.
I'm gonna provide texts about my experiences and pictures aswell.
Looking for more basic weed/hash there. It's all about quality and taste and not about getting as high as possible.
Clean taste/look is what i'm mostly looking for like i already wrote in my recent posts in other topics.
I'm planning to visit following Coffeeshops:
Utopia, Voyagers, YoYo, 1e Hulp and maybe Siberie and Greenhouse.
What do you think, you think i will get happy in those shops i mentioned ?
Anything i HAVE to visit which is a must see ?
Or any shop recommendations ?
Hope you enjoy reading my blog,
greetings aiden

Hey, aidens...
If i were you, i'd give Siberie and Greenhouse a miss, and take advantage of some of the shops in De Pijp instead... Whilst you're worming your way to Yo-Yo, you might want to check out Papillion, De Graal, Katsu or Club Media... Maybe even Ibiza... If you do go to Greenhouse, i'd advise only trying their Hashes; and even then, only the cheaper end.
Hope you enjoy your trip... I look forward to it... Especially the photo's.... We love our porn here!

Boerjoengens (either center or west) for some of cleanest and most yummy hash and ver ygood value weed. Easy Times is a very good bet for nice quality, decently flushed and well cured weed, good hash menu also. De graal should also make you happy!
Green Place is also a good bet for both weed and hash (although some report bad service, we have never had it).
1e Hulp, Utopia and Voyagers from your own list in that order

BTW: You can only smoke at Club Media if you are a member, which requires being a Dutch citizen. Katsu has been a big let down for us and a few others lately, so be warned (very nice shop, besides the crappy weed and hash we had on several occasion, others report the same).
Second the skipping of Greenhouse and Siberie (although some give props to the latter).

I recommend a nice trip for Guiness at Mulligans, then amble down to Boerjoengens. Pop in to KiBoot to pet Jimmy, then stroll down to Yo-Yo. Waltz over to Sarphati Park, then hit up CS Ibiza. At some point stop for Heineken along the way - might I suggest a beer w/ dinner at Carel's?

Then slightly backtrack up Reguliersgracht and ease into Barneys for a milkshake and finishing off your stash from Boerjoengens and Yo-Yo.
Edited to add: My wife was reading and snickered. She is a vegetarian. Last time we were there, she asked if they have a vegetarian menu. Of course, there at the bottom of the menu - vegetarian selections: 1) bread, 2) fries, tomato soup. Was a great laugh. Soup and bread were very good!

Hello aidens, Enjoy your trip
, does it really matter witch coffee shop you stop in, or the fact that you CAN!
Enjoy the walk from one coffee shop to the next, notice the architecture, and the art all around you,
the sights and sounds,
it is a great city,
stay out of the bike lanes
