Here is how I imagine my shop:

I would locate my coffeeshop either in the south around the area where Easy Times is located or in the Jordaan close to Paradox, maybe in between of Amnesia and Paradox. Always directly on one of the bigger grachts (is this the plural of "gracht"?) in a more quiet area, as they look beautiful at night. Of course, this would require an outdoor area. It would have a bench like Utopia's pointing at the water, and maybe one or two more tables with chairs you can lean back in. Additionally some plants like bamboo, but nothing that blocks the view on the water. The shop front has big windows that can be opened in the summer and give a great view on the canals from inside in the winter.

The interior has light colors with benches on the wall with tables large enough for newspapers in front of them and chairs on the tables facing the wall and thus the benches. All in different sizes so that couples but also groups of e.g. six people can find a place to settle. Maybe two or three small rooms that are connected without a door. There is no smoking area, weed and hash only. But you can always chill outside with tobacco. There are also two or three volcanoes you can ask for at the bar to take to the table with you. Maybe one or two bongs - but I don't know about the cleaning part, so maybe not. There is a bookshelf with books like novels, books about cannabis, etc. which every guest can borrow for reading and put them back once he or she leaves. Also, the guests are encouraged to leave books they don't need anymore for others to enjoy. Board games are also provided, so are card games; creating a place where there is no hurry - something I often miss in the shops in the center.
The music constantly changes so that it doesn't get boring. Nothing wild like rock or metal though - although I listen to that every once in a while as well. Rather something like reggae, (deep) house, jazz, sometimes a little hip hop. And not too loud so conversations do not get disturbed.

The drinks are the same as in most coffeeshops. But as I like tea very much, there is a selection with a couple of green (mostly), white and black teas in their loose forms. The guests get hot water in a cup and a tea strainer with their portion of loose tea so that they can make it themselves - however they like it.
The food menu consists of a couple of snacks. The space cakes come in different strengths so that everybody can find what is best for her or him.

The weed menu (as in my previous post):

Sour Diesel
Super Silver Haze
Amnesia
Acapulco Gold --> I got rid of the Orange Bud for this one
NYC Diesel
Girl Scout Cookies
AK47
White Widow
OG Kush
LA Confidential

Hash menu:

classic Afghan
classic Moroccan 1
classic Moroccan 2
new school hash (e.g. like Utopia's Amnesia Cream)
ice o lator

Also some pre rolled joints of the strains on the menu.

No table service - everybody has to come to the counter. There, you can also get papers and filter tips if you need some. And lighters.

I would open the shop, wait until it does really good and then sell it and chill in it all day, everyday.
Probably not, as owning my own coffeeshop sounds like way too much fun :D

We're all about the flowers :)

Silver Bubble (SSH x Bubblegum Cut)
Old Skool Amsterdam Vs the best of the Old Skool U.S.A flavours. Bringing the haze and candy vibes to the party. ONLY stock from this selective phenotype is good enough to get through our gates

Shoreline
Purple grapes, red berries and bergamot. Hints of floral Lavender and subtle musky Moroccan spice tantalise the tastebuds behind the cheekiest Skunk#1 pheno on the market in this menu curators humble opinion.

Tangie (SoYo Orange Soda Cut)
Propping up the sweet-end of the spectrum is this phenotype of DNA's sour tangle found by a UK grower during a 10 sack run of DNA's Lemon OG beans. A welcome interloper that is gaining a reputation on her local scene. With a special sherbet fizz to cap the brighter end of the Tangie line's variety of Tangerine terp profiles she stands out from the crowd. Extracts from this lady can genuinely resemble a can of extra-sweet-sugary Tango on the palate.

Rainbow Jones
This UK strain from breeder Connoisseur Genetics is representing both the Mendo Purps and the spicy and sour rotten fruit funk of Casey Jones. The ECSD parentage is often subtle in the mix - adding a velvet smoothness that comes through nicely with a gentle feeding cycle or a bio-organic approach coupled with a minimum of a two month cure.

Mexican Sativa
The house's favourite breeders favourite. She always adds an interesting 'red' and savoury - subtly florally fruity character to her offspring adding sandalwood and sage as a counterweight to the sweeter top-end. Exotic and old-school, a true classic.

NYCD (Red Grapefruit Cut)
Bridging the gap into the OG lineage are the gassy but fruity and sour citric grapefruit and lime notes of the classic NYCD. Forget Chemdawg; this is my go-to profile from the Diesel end of the spectrum. Gassy and light rather than oily and cloying this lovely lady is the best the East Coast has to offer.

Alien Technology
Whatever the truth behind the back-story this lady lives up to the hype. The most OG OG you'll ever smoke. If this is truly a Land-race (doubtful in my eyes); then I have to question the legitimacy of the OG Kush story. The two are almost inseparable. Bright Sandalwood herbaceous scratch and Afghan spice through the middle, filthy-rotten Gasoline Lemon peel and Pine cleaner chemical funk in the bass notes with a subtle and dark fruity edge. King of the Kush.

Kosher Kush
All of the above with the Indian spice dialled back somewhat to make way for surprising bass notes of sour lemons and filthy gasoline turned up to eleven. Dark, stinking trees. The personification of dank.

UGORG Disco Biscuit
New school UK Vs U.S fusion genetics in the area; UGORG Cookies x UGORG#1 (Cheese).
Sought-after on the scene this lady is complex and exotic. Uncooked and raw yet somehow simultaneously subtle and tantalisingly delicate - her parents shine through without overpowering their bed-fellows. It won't be long before this lady makes the jump across the North Sea to the 'Dam.

Gorilla Glue #4
Easy to identify and always a powerful smoke - this lady tops off and rounds out our menu; balancing the sweet, sour, savoury and downright dank into a single experience. Her distinctive glue-like cloying throat funk might be unpleasant for some but the coating of terpenes is long lasting and unique.

One of those threads  ( https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24192 / https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... =9&t=28673& / https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13687 ).

While I respect this profit approach my establishment would be inspired by Spanish Social Clubs; all money earned is for paying stuff and overhead costs, rest for social projects. There is most probably never a crowd as in my fantasy world grass and hash is legal everywhere in the world. Place is called 'Esperanto'. Size is as big as both coffeeshops of Grass Company in Tilburg all together. Too there is a big garden(barbebue option). Am with KeyMonCha's suggestion of unisex toilettes.
Bring your own either if it's gear, food or drinks as long as you donate something(there is a donation box feel free to choose how much you give). There is a little assortment of food available, maybe even a basic kitchen for free use if you take care. Free moroccan style mint tea, usual paraphernalia available, too.
Lots of daylight and comfy enough seats. Proper ventilation of course as I don't like smoky interiors.
Tobacco is strictly forbidden; everyone getting caught in the act will be kicked off once and banned for lifetime if tried twice. Same with people trying to make a phone call or people try to set up their office on the premises; wifi and bluetooth jammer to make sure there is no internet available. No TV sets but occasional evenings with movies(projector) or live concerts. You are encouraged to communicate or just relax it's up to you.
There is a pool table and even a kicker table. Proper hifi soundsystem at decent volume playing all kind of stuff. No clocks.
One mate once got this idea of having one of those tiny mokeys around for grinding up our gear – since I'm sort of into animal liberation this is sheer impossibility then but enslavement of human beings will do the job then(in my world no more than two hours a day everywhere as labour just sucks but needs to be done to some degree). So there is either a gentleman or lady constantly grinding up your gear, filling bowls or rolling up joints so the rest can focus on relaxing and chatting or prepare for theirselves.
Staff also takes care of people hanging around since ages and reminding them every now and then to leave so others can join the scene.

All gear is produced organic(soil), as less fertilizers as possible and flushed between one and two weeks. At least(strain dependent)cured for six weeks. If quality isn't guaranteed there will be certain strains unavailable.

Grass is organic and if outdoor season permitting available as outdoor(imported from particular countries), since I know its doable to produce grass for like 1€/g a price with homegrown it is even cheaper with an somewhat industrial approach so 4€/g is possible. Of course no feminized seeds involved for our cuttings. The establishment is directed at recreational users but if a medical user is needing something(in my fantasy world their health insurance is taking care of the costs usually)they get it for the cost price of course.
Strains I choose are mostly based on personal experience with intention of having a somewhat balance between uppish highs and heavy stony highs; also something fruity. Definitely less is more, no bullshit menus!

White Widow/Black Widow; tracked down original genetics from fuck knows for the old schoolers
Super Silver Haze
NYC Diesel(Arsehole Soma) or Jackberry(Sannie's)
Either Anesthesia(Breeders Choice/Sannie's) / Black Domina(Sensi Seeds ; never tried but on the wish list) / Herijuana(Sannie's ; never tried but on the wish list); changing monthly
Exodus Cheese
Random Kush
Monthly Special
High Grade Landrace from South America, Caribean , Asia or Africa; changing monthly

Hashish(in my fantasy world all producing countries legalized and it is produced and taken care of like wine)is 5€/g; only cream of the crop gear

Classic Moroccan
Afg/Paki Moroccan
Nepalese Cream
Handrubbed Nepalese/Indian
Libanon
Afghanistan
Pakistan
Monthly Specials from all over the world

Dry Sift('99,9% clean')preferably from proper outdoor grown stuff(see above)is 6€/g

Trippy One
Stony One

Thanks for inspiration everybody :)

Hi all, long time reader, rare poster here! Loved this topic so couldn't resist logging back in

I'm calling my Coffeeshop 'SchmewkyBewl' as an ode to workaholics, my favourite current stoner sitcom! It'd be comfy with sofas, beanbags bags and tables of various heights, mood lighting and a mix of reggae, indie and rock music with small interludes of 90s rap.

I did compose a long ass post explaining my menu choices in detail but then my login timed out and it's lost in the Internet so here it is plain and simple:

SSH
Amnesia (Voyagers Example)
Original G13
Kosher Kush
ODV3/Tangerine Dream (can't pick)
Silver Bubble (same pheno as OHMF eloquently described, what a beauty)
Mexican Cookies (boerejongens)
Kaligria (Voyagers)
Lost Coast OG
Strawberry Sour Diesel

Hash -

Menali cream
Kosher/Tangie/ssh/slh block hash
A classic soft blonde hash

That sounds like a place I would like to get smoked in! I like the idea of the bongs, having a few pipes and bongs to lend out to the customers would go a long way. Shame it is so hard to open a cafe, maybe one day.

Are we talking what's available in a coffee shop or actual lineage's?
Cause,

Alien tech has a cherry taste, not really anything like og

Rainbow jones is GDP x Casey jones, there is no ecsd in it.

Here's a few strains for my menu.

A5 haze
Mexican haze
Super lemon haze
Thai stick
Cheese
Roadkill skunk
Socal Master
Grandoggy purps
OG Kush
Sweet Pink Grapefruit.

This gives something for everyone, from
An up sativa to a knock out indica, with dreamy/relaxed stoned
Somewhere in the middle.

And of course dry sift hash of all the strains mentioned plus a selection of Afghani,Maroc and
Indian hashish.
All @99% clean. Just melty heads.

Alien tech - tried it twice, once locally sourced - once in a coffeeshop. Both the same (or close enough) strain - both like OG on steroids. Given the supposed back-story of the genetics (landrace afghani brought back by a US marine) I'm inclined to think that this 'strain' is actually a ghost.

Rainbow Jones is indeed GDP x Casey Jones which in turn is Oriental Express (Trainwreck x thai) x ECSD if I'm not mistaken ;)

You got me on the Casey Jones coming from Oriental express, fair play.

Are you sure it was ecsd and not rezs v3? I can vaguely remember Billy Goat making it.
You are 100% correct , I forgot where the fj came from... d'oh.

Without saying too much - Rainbow Jones is a lady I've had a close relationship with :)
Admittedly I've only ever bought Alien Tech from highly unreliable sources. A UK dealer (more likely to piss down your back and tell you it's raining than even give a fuck what it is they're selling you) and Green Place (same deal).
So --- yeaaaaah.
