No mate it's Wednesday (1st)... And I believe this one is full dude,

.... Landed in leidsplein about 2pm. Had a wander around, Only nipped into 1e hulp to try the somari (13e)not sure if its just my taste buds (am just getting over man flu) but didn't have any taste to it... Felt nicely stoned after id finished it though so can't complain ,, continued on our way grabbed some food and headed towards Easytimes as the NY sour diesel had been recommended by someone.. This had a proper sour diesel taste to it (which I could taste so am thinking maybe the Somali is tasteless afterall?)
So picked up from easytimes and headed towards bulldog palace (Iam with the Mrs n she wanted a drink and let's be honest it's awesome idiot watching location) ..

Had a 2nd skin Of The diesel and come back to the hotel with a rocky road cake ....
Off for a trip to Bij & Boerejongens west after some food

Smoking Somari right now - beautifully loud notes of Orange, diesel, menthol and kushy chocolate.
Bad batch (not unheard of at 1e) or broken tastebuds One of the two for sure!

I was thinking of my first ever CS the other day, and posted a bit about it in the Fall. When is the last time anyone here popped into The Saint off Rembrandtsplein? I had a really good time in there, then never returned. If you are in the area and it is not too much out of your way, I respectfully request a pop in and report on whether it is still kicking, the menu, and does it seem to have any customers?

A few posts over the last year included reminiscing about the first CS visit, what the poster fondly (or dispassionately) recalls, and sometimes a comparison of how other shops never lived up. All I have from that one visit is a pic of me and my sister laughing so hard that we nearly fell off our stools at the little high-rise tables. Then I never returned. In fact, for a few trips after that trip with my sister, I thought I dreamt that place up only to just so happen to walk down that street from Rembrandtsplein about 4 trips later, then peak down that alley and see it just as I was describing to my wife some mythical CS that I never could find again.

What is it with going to amsterdam, I always feel run down in the lead up to a trip. Is it that demob, stopping work, going on holiday, relaxing and letting your guard down? I don't know. It's always a major worry.

Boerejongens west never ever ever ever disappoints ....

Superamazin is on the menu... And it's exactly the same as in may last year. No full buds left in the tub but enough lol nuggets to make a G up so happy days, rolled one for the walk... Now the rest Of The list I haven't yet tried... 1g Black Jack haze, 1g Amnesia and 2g of the white Choco block.

OK then..dont remember much about last night to be totally honest although I did sit on the hotel step with the owner At about 1am , he was smoking some king Hasman,..Hassan, ... (somat like that.) The black Jack haze is proper tastey with a classic haze taste,typical quality that you would expect from any boerejongens
I've been smoking that and the Superamazin and white-Choco Bloc today (no point In me reviewing that!!!) today mainly, .. Did pop into Balou for a quick pit stop while the Mrs was looking in some shop or other. Had a gram Of The super silver, mehhhhh mediocre taste nothing special but 10euro for. 9 can't argue really, ... The Mrs is now feeling a bit rough (TBH she has been soldiering on all afternoon) so decided head back via grey area,
Arrived and I shit u not there's no one in line so i walk straight up to the counter, I love the greyberry it's just a proper A1 smoke At a good price (11euro) so a cpl G of that.. (the last bud too) and asked for a nug of something tastey .. .. Cherry pie!(13euro). Not had a smoke off either yet as wanted get Mrs back to the hotel but both look and smell delicious, .... .. Off for Thai food tonight at a place called Sawadee Ka (it is well worth a visit if you like Thai food )
