To be truthful, I haven't found anything that isn't more pleasurable after smoking.

One of my more memorable examples involves enjoying music at the Concertgebouw in 2014.
I had been a fan of Ludovico Einaudi for a few years. I was very excited when I saw he was performing at the Concertbebouw during my planned visit. The website indicated a sold out performance

so I called the box office and spoke with a nice woman who informed me she did have 1 seat available. She cautioned me that it was on the stage and behind the musicians. I gladly bought the ticket.
The evening of the performance was typical rainy Dutch weather. I left my hotel at the Bulldog with two hash brownies (can't recall where I got them, maybe Abraxas, in which case they were weed brownies) and rounded the corner to Wynand Fockink where I got two shots of
FRAMBOZEN Raspberry Brandy. I found a dry spot in the alley to consume them and sparked one up after on the walk over to the tram.
The tram came quickly and whisked me up to the Concertgebouw. I was early enough to find a sheltered spot on a quiet street in the residential area surrounding and finished off two more numbers before heading into the concert.
Now the brownies, brandy and cannabis are all meeting each other and playing nicely inside me as I find my seat, Row 3 seat C. A nice young woman escorts me onto the stage and place me in a seat immediately behind the percussionist with no one in front of me

The rows are circular and staggered so Rows 2 and 1 do not extend in front of my seat in Row 3. I have unobstructed and very close views of each performer, including Ludovico approximately 4 meters away.
I am pretty amazed at my good fortune and apparently showing it. A young Dutch man sits next to me and shares my enthusiasm at our good fortune.
The Concertgebouw is a traditional classical symphonic hall. As such, many who patronize it's hallowed halls look down a bit on Ludovico's contemporary interpretation 'classical music'. Local newspaper reviews the next day were not favorable, and there was an unusually high number of coughs during quieter sections of performance. Still, there was a lot of enthusiasm in the hall, particularly from my seat mate and I.
The lights dim and the music begins. I really enjoyed that Ludovico incorporated lights, lasers and fog into the show. This irked some but really added to to show. If you have not experienced it, you must hear music at the Concertgebouw. The acoustics are simply fantastic, perfection. With it's beautiful surroundings, astounding sound quality, intimate setting of the performers, the fantastic music and mesmerizing light show, for a moment I experienced an out of body experience, so at one was I with the surroundings. With my eyes closed I literally felt myself floating above my seat suspended on the music. Open my eyes and it felt like I slowly and gently settled back into my seat. Close my eyes and I felt myself float back up like a balloon filled with musical helium. Fucking amazing concert.
Pretty amazing experience, definitely enhanced greatly by cannabis.
