Morning Smoke

Post by rks0 »

Im off to Amsterdam in May, and am going with a bunch of friends- some of them are Dam virgins, and I'm sure I'll end babysitting a few of them.
I'm looking to do the sensible thing and stick to Sativa's during the day.
There are some obvious choices that spring to mind- Laughing Buddha, NYCD, and of course, your Hazes.
Fine for me, but I think some of them may be a bit strong for some of us.
Can anyone recommend a nice sativa- not too strong, but with a definite uplifting cerebral high?

That sounds like a good plan: Sativas in the morning/afternoon. I had a great uplifting high on my last visit by combining an Outdoor Purple Skunk (which I think is a Sativa/Indica blend) and Super Pollen from Siberie, and washed it down with one of their excellent coffees. My and my friend proceeded to giggle our way around town and check into our room. We were clearheaded enough to make it from Siberie to Vondelpark without a map. Well actually we did take a slight detour.

I like to sprinkle a little bit of pollen onto most of my weeds as it seem to hit fast and then the weed creeps in, so you get a nice well rounded high. I like the indicas at nite though.

I've heard the Thai's and Durban Poison are good uplifting highs. Hmm, I guess I need to "scientifically" test this.

Let us know what you smoked.

I agree with the idea of sticking to light sativas and some of the low grade smokes, things like purple and thai. If you get them from decent shops you might be suprised by the nice little buzz you can get off them.

My ther recommendation would be 'Early Pearl' from Basjoe, my favourite day time smoke.

Enjoy

I'd also say that Temple Ball is a nice daytime smoke if you like hash... not too heavy on the brain, nice and clear without getting overly mindmelt :-)

Mako Haze from Dampkring is a lovely daytime smoke. I second the vote for Temple Balls, but if you smoke enough it can get a bit chaotic in the city. More of a Vondel Park smoke IMO.

A Vondel Park visit is on the agenda, and Temple Balls does indeed sound like a good idea. Guess I'll be stocking up at Stix.
