official champions league final thread

Post by cantona7 »

well I'm a lifelong man utd supporter due to my exposure to football as a kid on my visits to england visiting my moms family. That said I am probably one of only thousands of Americans out of over 300 million who actually cared about this match let alone is depressed after it. cant believe we lost to a team who shouldn't have been allowed into the champions league this year anyway. anyway enough of my sour grapes.

for only the second or third time in my life i will be going for Liverpool. Only other time i can remember going for them was in 05..because my friend who was sick with cancer(rip) was a huge supporter of them and i wanted to see him happy with the match.

that said this year i see a liverpool win 3-1. they beat a superior milan team in 2005..no reason they cant again.

what are your predictions?

As stated in another post, my football affiliations are, and have always been Liverpool.
At the moment, the hunt is on to try and secure a ticket to the final.
I believe that we can win the match- I just hope that we don't make it as traumatic as the away Barcelona match (I was there!!! ), or the home game against Chelsea!
