Epic tale so far buddy! Enjoyable reading indeed. DLN’s lost soul look is an unlikely barometer by which its possible (should one study hard enough) to determine Whether he should take another cap / dab / dose of syrup to ‘bring him round’.

Great stuff! God damn that’s made me miss Amsterdam. 
You did meet me at La Grotte on day two. My notes say so specifically. Also - after the boat trip we went to Molly Malones for supper then cruised round a few shop menus before following Nugs on his syrup buying mission which is why we were at sky lounge / the docks till late
