Staying at world fashion apartments

I'm looking for some advice please

We are coming over Friday night through til Sunday with a friend who lives at the world fashion apartments.

I have been a few times but not for 5 or so years and have never ventured out there before.

We arrive late Friday night around 9ish and I'm wondering what coffeshops are close by.

We have a route set for Saturday which is boerejoungers to katsu and a walk through de pijp then up to grey area and a quick beer in lost in amsterdam before heading back down to leidsplein to watch the boxing at satellite so also any must go shops on that walk down would also be great
