Joint Menu

If you're reading on a phone you might see these behind the menu options at the top of the page.
I usually view the site on a big screen but I was looking on my phone the other day and thought the green (radial gradient) buttons were rubbish! Then I had the idea of using joints so I knocked this up.
If your phone is still showing the old buttons you may need to clear the cache in your history settings.
On some devices you may never see the lit joint. If you're using a mouse it should appear when you roll over it. On a touch screen it will appear when you tap on it until the new page has loaded. On Apples it will probably not appear but everything else should work.
If you're into graphics and can help me improve this, please get in touch.

It’s messed up the graphics at the top on my phone. If you have a email address I’ll send you a screenshot.

@DjShaggy
Thanks for letting me know
My public email is

Are you on Android, Apple or something else?
Please can you try another clear of the cache? (e.g. History > Clear Browsing Data > Cached Images and Files)
Is it the same throughout the site - i.e. the Forum and the rest? In both cases there are changes to style sheets, graphics and code so if you have a mix of old and new files it can get messed up.

Looks fine here on iOS. I think a cache-reset should cure shaggy's issues.
I don't see the lit joint 'active' state - and you could show that on:hover instead; targetted for specific devices with @media queries if it really bothers you.

@OneHighMofo
Thanks. Glad to hear it's working reasonably well on your phone.
The lit joint is on a:hover but I've found before that can be problematic on Apples.
I'll have another fiddle with it sometime.
It's most effective on a PC with a mouse - if you can get the browser window narrow enough to force it into mobile mode.
