Flights US to Europe

Post by Dacchus »

OK I know that our US cousins are getting a bad deal at the moment out of the Euro / Dollar exchange rate.

I occassionaly travel from Europe into the US for work / pleasure and the following have always provided me with fantastic economy rides:-

Martinair, are good for flights to Miami, and the Carribean, they offer some of the lowest euro priced flights I have ever found. However if I lived so close to Jamaica I wouldnt be flying to Europe! Martinair rarely popup as a listed airline on Kayak or other flight seach engines but they have consistently offered me flights at Euro 300 or approx $400

Another airline that covers SW Fla. and Vegas is a German airline Condor. These guys fly into Frankfurt, which due to military use is one of the most US populated airports outside of the US, its a doddle to catch a train from here to Amsterdam.

Soon we would both be completely twisted.

I agree Dacchus, Martinair is a great value, especially when you get a nonstop to Amsterdam for that price.

I also have been to Jamaica several times and LOVE it there! It may not have coffeeshops, but I bought about 6 ounces of weed for 200. Awesome gorgeous buds right on the stalks, not to mention hash.

Also smoked a joint on a boat full of people, smoked many at the waterfall and smoked a cheech n chong one in the lobby the morning I was flying back... not one word was said except by a woman on the boat who was surprised and smiling when she said "Hey she's smoking a joint right out in the open!" I just looked at her and smiiiiiiiiiled hehe Oh how I love Jamaica. 8)

I agree that Martinair is the best bet for flying to Amsterdam from Florida. They have nonstop flights from Miami and Orlando to Amsterdam at great rates. I have used them for all but one of my trips to Europe. They don't fly everyday but about four days a week. It's awesome to be on the plane and be spoken to in Dutch by the flight attendents.

I have a trip booked for November and paid $619.50. That is the most I have ever had to pay as I always travel in the off season. The weak dollar really sucks!

Wow y'all have already booked your tickets? I didn't book mine for November last year until September lol I paid $556. rt hhmmm wonder if it's cheaper now... I'll have to look into that. Hope to see y'all there then, I loved it last year eventhough I'm not used to the cold and I don't have much insulation

Let's have a smoke, bong. I miss our smoke sessions... not many can keep up with me but you can hehe 8)
