Ahh HGF: like the 420 version of the cafe in Friends.

Good to see they are keeping it real still.

I visited this place for the first time on Monday and all I could think of was that post "420 version of the friend's cafe"

I'd agree... I love this shop, the product is excellent with their Amazing Haze being the best smoke of the trip by a long shot...

Nice, bright, airy, friendly, top products... it's a fantastic shop and my current favourite.

No probs nam! It really is a fantastic smoke... the smell would literally knock you off your feet, absolutely reeking of citrus - oranges and lemons, I let my girl take a sniff and she nearly fell over . I always try to get a whiff of what I'm buying if possible, esp so on the 1st visit so I knew I wasn't being ripped off and this stuff stands head and shoulders above the crowd. One smell, one smoke and I was hooked

This shop is superb. I sat in there yesterday to read a "what if" trade paperback and I puffed on some of the amazing haze. It was fantastic. They offer a €20 for 4g deal of Jolly Green Giant. Has anyone tried that? I will next time if I don't just bust out with the amazing haze again :P The decor was very cool and the staff was helpful. Can't go wrong with this stop.

'tis a lovely place to spend a few hours, fantastic place to smoke and it's nice to get a wee seat outside also, if the weather is good :-)

They didn't have JGG on the menu when I was last in, it's gonna take quite something for me not to just go straight for the amazing haze when I'm next in though

Really nice shop; effed it I can recall what I bought in here, but the Aussie guy behind the bar is very sweet, the bathroom is stoney, and the decor is nice.

A pleasant ambience, and not overflowing with backpackers or Brits.

Who is in Utopia today? They're lovely people...

Yeah, the toilet in HG is very unexpected the first time, isn't it? I opened the door half-stoned and was like *wooow* I thought it'd be a bit too dark to, um operate... but it works

Nice vibe in there.

Unhelpful, unfriendly (but cute) chickie serving there, sold me a gram of Kali-mist @ EU$11 (I think) and a piece of chocolate cake @ EU$5.

I was already off my tits so I may have been in the wrong frame of mind, but I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

4 words to say about this place (...initially)...

"Genie of the Lamp"

Mmmm...

NYCD and Big Bud cross i think.

One of the nicest weeds we've (my girlfriend and I) have tasted.

Always friendly, was given a sample slice of spacecake. Also yummy.

Like others have mentioned, it hasn't got the most extensive menu, but seriously if they have it, try the Genie.

Rate this place highly.

Very good coffeeshop. Spent alot of time in this place. Toilet is really trippy.
Bought 1g of Shiva and 1g of dutch dust from here. Was very impressed with both the shiva smelt lovely and had a smooth taste. The dutch dust came in a spliff holder :P and went a very long way, getting around 12 joints out of it that put us on our arses.
Friend bought 1g of durban poison from the outdoor section for 5euro. Nothing fantastic but good value for money

Me and a friend also bought a hash cake each from here, which tasted delicious but couldnt really tell the effects as we'd smoked alot before and straight after eating them.
Baldish guy with the beard was really cool, asked to use a bong he cleaned it out before i used it.

Can't rate this place higly enough. For a start, the gear is very good, and not too expensive, given the location; granted, it's not the closest coffeeshop to Centraal, but it's well worth the 5-10 min walk!

Must have been in here dozens of times and the staff are always great, plus it has an excellent range of drinks and munchie snacks! They even rescued me when I whitied on a solo trip once - very grateful for that!

Always my first and last call anyway and it's certainly worth buying and smoking in here for value for money and the cool atmosphere. They even have a nice terrace which will srve very well with the shitty smoking ban!
