Nice 1 there buddy, Oct 420 should be a good one and the weather will be kind to us all also . I may even have an extra body with me(not a dead one )as a mate is looking to book up for October as well so may just work out all ok if i can split cost of the apartment i have booked with him. Even if i can't split it it do not matter as it's AMSTERDAM

8 days after booking, wtf ?

I have been texting Amsterdamstay for the past week trying to confirm my booking. The following is part of the explanation for the confusion and cancellation....

"We regret we have not yet heard back from Fedora who is the owner of Inner City Treasure 1614.
We are very sorry for this situation, Many hosts blocked their calendars in the beginning of the pandemic and have not yet started to accept bookings but our system only allows hosts to block up to 1 year in advance. I can see that the calendar for 1614 is closed for quite a few months ahead and it looks like the dates begin to open up in March of 2021 which would correspond to Fedora having set the block in March of this past year and explain why the dates showed as available. "

They are now searching their files for an apartment for me. Saving me a load of time and frustration.
