Info on Ultrecht,please!

Looking for info on Ultrecht while in Amsterdam. Was told was a cool place to party. Is this true? Thanks for any info! Peace and 4:20!

Utrecht is a great town. One point about the coffeshop scene there is that they are almost ALL buy on entry kind of establishments. This can be a little annoying, but overall a nice place well worth a day or two of your life with a few good shops to choose from. There are loads of students around, so the nightlife is pretty good too.

yea.. I have friends that are going to Uni all over the netherlands (Maastricht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam) and basically, wherever there is a major university, its a good place to have fun

What I saw of Utrecht I liked, the sunken canls are amazing, I only used 1 coffeeshop called Wietstock and scored some weed called Budsies (3 grams for €15) and plan on going back for the day over christmas.

In Nov. I will be in Holland,so I hope I can visit some shops in Maastricht or Groningen.Heard alot about Heaven69 and CoolRunning and Easy Going for some quality weed.Nice price and Sticky weed.Does anyone know so intersting Shops there (but please stay away with the partyboat).

Sorry for the delete....
This summer I went to Utrecht... very good city.
From the station you are in a very big commercial center.... the station divide the city into a commercial, residential part and a Mussulman part.
In the musulman part there are many coffee but in some there are not very good people in and outside . In this part I like Shabab white White Widow (pretty).
In the other part of the city there are many bar , pub, restaurant, and some pretty coffee:
De vipshop is very small but pretty with a Verdamper
Sarasani the best coffee in Holland open at 19:00 to 24:00/24:30 very good quality, staff.
Andersom good place but poor quality
Bordeaux rood nice
Koffiedik is pretty but very very cold (in summer inside 14°)

all coffee open from 9:30 to 24:00 (someone 10:00 - 22:00)
