Wednesday sounds best but can do Thursday - boat is nice if we can organize ourselves, the one from the Bulldog can be booked if we have numbers.

We have an invite to The Stud :D
A very cool shop way out east.
Some may remember our wonderful session there in 2017.

We need to find a slot for this. One option could be after Ballonnetje on Wednesday 19th or after 420 on Thursday 20th, especially if we're struggling with the boat trip idea. :?:

The Stud is happy with either day but emphasised that it should be before sundown (it's Ramadan and it gets busy in the evening).

Thoughts? I'd like to get back to them soon.
That's great news  I suppose if slotting it in after Het Ballonnetje 19th it will depend on how long we are in there blazing it up for which will then determine what time we get to The Stud. I think last year we spent a good couple of hours in Ballonnetje at least, so we would be there until at least 4pm and then stumble on over to The Stud for 4.30/5pm 'ish' fits in quite nicely there, what you all reckon chaps :?: Both days are quite packed out looking at them :D 8) still no news from boat people(have emailed again today  ) see if they respond back but have noticed that when you look at the dates and times that would suit our group there are already people booked onto these boats at them times. Would everyone be prepared to do a public sailing on either the Bulldog Boat or the Buddha Boat :?: If we all booked our tickets up then I feel we would have most of the boat secured anyway apart from the odd random that has already booked a ticket. What are everyone's thought's :?:

I am in for the Stud after the Balloon on the 19th and the boat trip with which ever company is agreed upon.
I'll take that horse Lemming considering that I don't walk much anymore, getting to old for any long waddles.🥴🥴😳😎
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

Love the tram map Lemming I haven't been on one in years but I think it would be great this time due to distance we have to cover I think its as simple as downloading an app on the phone bit could be wrong ,if I'm reading the tram map correctly no14 takes us from het balloonjte to the Stud

So many places, so little time!

Haarlem

Ghost mentioned Willie Wortels Sinsemilla and Docgonzo42 mentioned meeting us in Haarlem so how about we set a t&t there around 2? We could then do a crawl around WW Indica and The Lounge. If we plot the right course I could indulge in some train spotting by grabbing passing photos of High Times and Maximillian on the way to The Lounge and then Easy Max, Regine and Take Away on the way back. They make a nice circuit and we could pop into any of them if anyone wants to.

We could then head for Birdy late afternoon or early evening. That might give later arrivers Bedge, Phoenix and Worsall a chance to catch up with us there if they want to. Would that help? What time could you guys get there by?

Tram Crawl

Having made that map, I'm wondering whether time could be found for a frantic tour around more outlying coffeeshops. I'm mostly train spotting so quite a few flying visits could be crammed into few hours.

Monday would probably be the best opportunity for this as an expansion of the ferry suggestion. Apparently Gapie, Ghost+Mike, Igraine, Lemming, Matty223 and Occasional Bowl. Any, all or none of you up for this idea?

The Stud

Last time we went there it was straight from Ballonnetje. They're both on the same side of town so it makes sense. On the other hand, spreading our two special sessions over two days might be cool. We might be too wasted to appreciate Stud after Ballonnetje :D

Either day we should probably aim no later than about 5. It would probably be easier if we all take the tram. If we have various groups on foot, pedi-cabs, bikes, horses, skateboards and so on it could get complicated!

I'm open to either day but the idea of taking the whole group from 420 Café soon after 4.20 is quite appealing.

Boat

To be honest, I'm struggling to find much enthusiasm for a public sailing. If we can't get a whole boat then I'm inclined to save the time and money for more coffeeshops. If that's just me, though, I'll go along with the group.

WhatsApp

Those of us who did The Gathering last year are also in a WhatsApp group.

To Docgonzo42, Gman, Matty223, Occasional Bowl, Phoenix, Sammysarahh, Talkrum, Tokeing tom and Trad - If you send me your mobile number via lemming@coffeeshop.freeuk.com or other means I'll add you to this group.

No problem at all. It just made me laugh that you'd selected yet another form of transport that I hadn't even thought of. Then I had this stoned vision of a row of horses tied up outside a coffeeshop and another of a band of stoners crossing town where everyone is using a different means of propulsion.

I had the same mental image of horses outside of coffeeshops.🤓
Actually horses might be easier, tie them head to tail and we wouldn't lose anyone. 😁😁🤓🤓

 Yes you are spot on way to many places and not enough time  Your idea for Haarlem when there sounds ok and hopefully will enable a few good photo opportunities whilst strolling around and suit any one catching up with us

I expect Mike and Myself will maybe join for a mad tram afternoon to grab some pics, see how we feel on the day.

I do like the idea of spreading the 2 special events out and also going there after 420 on 420  makes sense and would replace the boat if needed, but am also happy doing it on the 19th as I suggested and depending on what everyone else wants to do. Would make my last full day in town a 'Banger' Our main mode of transport will be the trams.

If we have no time slot for the boat that would enable us to have the Stud after 420 and then if people want to have a boat they can book their tickets online before they arrive in town on one of the sites suggested or any of the other boats or just book something when in town. Mike has already said he is not that bothered about doing the boat himself and to be honest I have lost the will to live  . Obviously if a company does come back with a private charter then we will take it, if the price is right and we can blaze and dab on board 8)

I also think it would be nice to spread the stud out until after 420 might be a bit much after the baloon but again I'm easy also about the boat

Boat Tour - Well chaps we have had a response back from the Buddha Boat Company with all the information and pricing etc to hire their boat. I have emailed them back with the date of the 20th and 2 time slots of either 7pm or 8pm set off, the sailing is an 80 minute tour and for a little extra cost we can have soft drinks, beer and wines to consume. We can also bring our own drinks and snacks on board or they can be bought aboard as well, there is a toilet onboard and they also have a cover if the weather comes in bad.

20th April 2023 - 7pm or 8pm set off - 80 minute tour - with or without drinks - minimum of 10 people (defo's ) needed to make it cost effective and to be pre booked - could people who are defo up for it add your names so we can see the headcount please 8)

I think we have already defo -

GMan, Toking Tom, Bedge, Trad, Sammysarahh, Worsall, Ghost, Mike, Igraine, Lemming - that is 10 if everyone is ok and still game :?:
If it was just us 10 the cost would be 38euro each for the private tour with the drinks included or slightly less without drinks, personally I would have them and obviously if we had more people involved then that price would come down a bit for us. Must stress though that everyone who says they are in are committed to pay their share if we can get this boat and can either transfer me dollar before I book it or can pay cash when in town :?: .

Let me know your thoughts and if you are still up for it or not and if the Boat people say we can have one of them time slots then I think we will be good to go
