I had a quick look and it comes up in dollars and not pounds for my end but everything seems to be working ok otherwise

Thanks @Ghost. I guess that means your browser is configured for English-US rather than English-UK. I imagine that's not unusual so my attempt at automation is flawed. I think I'll have to change to something that allows users to pick language and currency manually. Another job to do

I've been looking at boats, and here's one we can drive ourselves. Adams boats. All electric, holds 10. Minimum 2 hours, (I put down 2) for $140 euros. $150 euro deposit.

Well done @Az that fried my brain last year so fingers crossed on this. I had a look at the site and it all looks good so I would be up for a watery adventure as long as the weather is good for us as I see the boats do not have a cover on them. The other boat that was a good boat was the Buddha Boats, the link is on last years 420 thread if you wants to check that out I am up for it either way Buddy

No worries I ordered a couple of new ACD T-Shirts with the map on the back which means I can leave my original Map Shirt at home this year - it is a relic now should be in a frame and in a museum really

Another special session place could be Prix Dami just because of the size of the place

Nice one @Ghost about Buddha boats . I checked their website and for the price, it's much better than the Adams boats.
It has everything we need, plus some. The hook up is nice also, just next to Centraal Station. With 8 people going, it would be roughly 32.50 euros, plus you get 2 free drinks. For a extra 25 euros, we can rent a Hookah.

Yes I really liked the look of that boat last year and tried to book it for a private tour through their website for us but it never happened, did look a nice boat when we saw it moored up though, not sure how many people we would need for a private sailing mind.

Personally, I would prefer the Buddaboat option. Sucking back beer for a couple of hours? My abused bladder will require attention.
As to the time, if we book for 8:00pm (2000hrs) we get the setting sun and the lights coming on.
Any ideas on this?

Great news @Trad. Will put you & Samantha down. That makes 6 folks who are committed.
We need 4 to 6 more people who want to join in on this crazy adventure.

@Trad, I did schedule us for a 70-minute boat tour, (haven't put any $ down yet) starting at 7:30pm and ending at 8:40. Should be enough time to enjoy the sun setting & the lights coming on. What do you think?
The sooner I get more people to join in, the sooner I'll make a cash reservation. Hopefully we'll be able to get those times i've looked at.
