I'll second that vote... Boner's advice has always been second to none, plus he has been smoking about as long as the critic has been alive.

This site is all about "Tourist weed" and is invaluable for those of us who find there is a lot more to Amsterdam than exploring every single coffeeshop in the RLD.

Cheers guys but let him have his opinion I have no problem with that, where I live its soapbar and nothing more so the tourist weed I get from Amsterdam/Haarlem/Delft & Utrecht is plenty good enough for me!

Boner, you never have steered me wrong. Before I went to the Dam I knew very little, but your coments on coffeeshops is 100% right on. Your video in Haarlem and Willie Wortel's was great. Keep your posts coming. Always look foward to what you have to say. AzLaker 8)
P.S. are you going to make the 4-20 trip? Sure would like to meet you.

First time I've ever laid eyes on this post (and the photos are superb) and it's a real education for someone like me, or anyone else who is going to Amsterdam while not quite sure of what to spend their money on.

I was so keen on sticking to hash while I was there and I probably still will but it was really good to see examples of, and prices for, several other varieties (mostly weed) that are available and that are cheaper than my two main targets (Umma Gumma and Gunpowder).

I could really save myself a bundle if I go for weed, which is probably going to be easier to work with than hash anyway and I still remember your recommendation about the NYC Diesel.

Sooooooooo much choice though, really hard to decide.

Thanks :D

Just left today. 6 strains in order best to last:

1. Super Silver Haze - Dampkring

2. Swazi - Nes

3. Kushage - Greenhouse Namaste

4. Kali Mist - Tweede Kamer

5. Neville's Haze - Tweede Kamer

6. Sweet Tooth - Barney's

They were all good of course, but the SSH blew me away. Awesome shit.

Its weed, the dealer recommended it over all the other stuff they were carrying at the time and it was the cheapest on the menu, I normally get the Dirty Jack Herrer from Floyds but I wasn't that keen on the look or the smell and the dealer said it reminded him of the NYCD they carried not too long ago and he wasn't overly impressed with it.

Came home Saturday

I can recomend:-

Super Silver Haze - Nes (nice and giggly)

Jack Herrer - Old Church (going back next week for some more)

New York Diesel - Greenhouse (not my bag but a very good version)

I can do you a favour and say :-

AVOID THE PURPLE HAZE FROM HUNTERS!!!! AT ALL COSTS.... IT'S PANTS.
When the going gets weird, the weird get going!
