I had Big Tits also. A very nice smoke - very nice indeed.

And the Budtender was the nicest guy.

Definetly a must see.

Wow, bit of a corpse this topic is

I was planning to make Pink Floyd my main morning stop for breakfast/newspaper review/spliff before heading off to enjoy the activities I have planned for myself each day.

I see it opens at 9 each day and I was basically planning to be there for round about that time (might give em half an hour to get properly set up, don't want to be standing outside the door before they open like a desperado)

How is Pink Floyd in the morning? Does it fill up quickly after opening? I have found that earlier is better for visiting most coffee shops and was wondering if Floyds was the same, especially with it being so close to Barneys.

Was thinking that the early risers might go from Barneys to Floyds?

The http://www.pinkfloyd.nl website used to have a link to a webcam in the shop but this has been taken away now (must be something to do with advertising hash/weed smoking)

Just got back from DAM (monday)

walked past barney's every morning , it was always to busy.

didn't have breakfast at pink floyd but highly recommend the place though.
friendly staff and very helpful dealers with some fine smoke.
had myself a hash tea , it was getting late but they went out of thier way to make me one.

got to remember , these people are at work , they dont always have the time to get friendly.

do try to sit down stairs cos them steps are a bitch when your stoned

JUST GOT BACK FROM DAM ABOUT AN HOUR OR SO AGO!!!!
HOW LUCKY WERE WE TO BE STAYING OPPOSITE THE PINK FLOYD? IT WAS THE FIRST ON OUR LIST AND WAS OUR FAVOURITE ONE. WE WERE A PARTY OF 7 WHO WERE MADE TO FEEL SO WELCOME BY THE STAFF (ROB & JULIE) THAT WE FOUND IT A STRUGGLE TO LEAVE SOMETIMES, A PROPER HOME FROM HOME SO TO SPEAK! WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS ONE TO EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE FIRST TIMERS, IT WILL SHOW YOU A GOOD CLEAN COFFEE SHOP THATS NOT ONLY GOOD FOR ATMOSPHERE BUT GIVES A FAIR DEAL!! 10/10 HAPPY DAYS!! :D :D

The weed cakes at PF are the best. I can compare them to Chocolata's which I personally found disappointing. Good place to chill and get high and friendly owners.

Pink Floyd is the best coffeeshop i have been to on my visits to Amsterdam. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The music is brilliant. If you like Pink Floyd, this is definately a must see coffeeshop. Good weed, the dealer recomended some umma guma to me, it was a very nice a distinctive smoke, but the super bubble gum was superior. If you can manage to get a seat on the sofas on the top floor overlooking the street you will fall in love with this place. You can spend hours here and enjoy every minute of it. It has a good mix of locals and tourists. I highly recomend this coffeeshop.

Probably have to totally re-think my Pink Floyd strategy. The hotel I'm staying at lays on your typical Dutch buffet breakfast and it's included in the price (which is not cheap).

I'm still hoping to get there early enough to enjoy the benefits of smoking on a sofa but it certainly won't be a first thing in the morning idea as I had orginally planned.

I'm not even at Amsterdam yet and my plans have all gone to pot

darn Doog... cant you just juggle the order of the CS's you wanted to visit...?

If you are staying as bed& breakfast, maybe they would exchange a breakfast or two for an evening meal (fair trade). That way you could do "breakfast at Pink Floyds" and not Tiffanys.

I will definitely visit Pink Floyds and probably more than once too.

I have been there before and I know how to get there and that I would be comfortable there.

Got all day and night to smoke. Why should first thing in the morning be so damn inportant anyway?

I should really be thinking about easing my way into the smoking environment. I've spent so much time hearing from serious smokers that I'm actually starting to think of myself as being one as well.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

From what i've read and how it's made me feel about my smoking is : "fuck it"... we're all different and we all do things differently. It means nothing how much anybody smokes. You are as serious a smoker as you feel. I'm happy with what I do and where/when I do it. Not much more to say (was I babbling  )

If I was to be named a serious smoker my two words would be to the person that catagorised me would be..... "try this"

Chill,
