Pink Floyd was always a favourite of mine and I was a little concerned that all would not be well with it now being owned by Damplkring, despite being a fan of the Dampkring weed and hash menu i thought they would have destroyed the friendly relaxed vibe in pink floyd.
My fears were proved unfounded as I found this shop to be my all time favourite in Amsterdam. The dealers and bar staff were all very friendly and welcoming making me feel right at home, the drinks were great and reasonably priced and the weed was also very good. I would reccomend the hot chocolate from here, I had never seen anything like it and also their pancakes were awesome and fairly reasonable by Amsterdam price standards at 4.50e for a nice big pancake with syrup.
Weed Reccomendations would be the White Russian if its in stock, a powerful smoke for the 7e/g price tag and also the mexican haze was very nice, although a bit pricey at 13e/g. Also try a pre rolled moonshine joint 8e, the only pre roll i ever buy in Amsterdam. I also tried a hash cake from here which was very light moist and tasty, unlike many space cakes in amsterdam and had a covering of chocolate cream. Weed space cakes were available in muffins which I didn't try. The hash cake certainly seemed to do the trick though.
The coffeeshop has definately changed since the pink floyd days and would be unrecognisable to most, but the awesome staff, weed and drinks have saved it!

Dampkring wasthe best shops on my trip, N0 1 or 2 or TK. The best menu, not as exp. as Amnesia, Barneys or GA, very friendly, nice athmosphere, good vibe.

I wanted to go there when I was in Dam last time, but unfortunately I got lost. What a shame.
Next time this will be the first shop to visit, so there are no excuses.
