Dutch couple detained in hashish bust

RABAT (AFP) - Moroccan customs agents detained a Dutch couple on Tuesday who were allegedly trying to take more than a tonne of hashish out of the country in their camper van, a media report said.
Police said the 42-year-old driver and his 22-year-old companion were trying to take the ferry from Tangier to the Spanish port of Algeciras when they were caught with 1.37 tonnes of the drug, according to Morocco's MAP news agency.
Customs officials searched the camper and discovered dozens of packets hidden in the vehicle's floorboard.
The value of the drugs was estimated at more than EUR 1.25 million on the European market.

I think a little more gratitude and sympathy is in order, without these brave souls we wouldn't be smoking any imported delicacies in Holland

i respect the people who do this work and in the end they do it for me as well, but its human to make fun out of other peoples bad luck
i hope they will get fewer punishment since spain is more liberal when it comes to cannabis.....

that's why I would never smuggle ANYTHING... I am amazed that peeps swallow condoms with a couple o' grams of hash... or per rectum... whats the point...
