I'm one of those fortunate folks. I smoke better weed at home than I generally find in Amsterdam, because I have chosen some of the best genetics on the market and brought them home -- Pot of Gold (you're kidding, they get E13 a gram for a heavy-producing indica???), Blueberry (a workaday strain, smooth all-day indica, but nothing more, in my opinion), Mother's Finest (former CC winner, very stony for a sativa), and Sensi Star (former CC winner, one of the best indicas anywhere). I added Chocolope last year, based on its OG Choc Thai heritage, before its reputation exploded, though I have only smoked it in a vaporizer at DNA Genetics (but give me about 50 more days, and that will change!)

Of the indicas, Pot of Gold has the best taste and knockdown stone, though Sensi Star is a much better overall weed.

But with all that said, the only time -- and I mean the ONLY time -- I ever had the reaction of buying the weed at a coffeeshop, then immediately buying the seeds because I absolutely had to add the strain to stock, was G13 Haze from Barney's. I went in completely skeptical, because my general belief, until proven otherwise, is that Barney's and CC are both bullshit. In fact, I hated to pay the ridiculous E14 nut for a gram of it. Then I was hit by the smell in the bag, the smell in the joint, the extraordinarily unique flavor, and the wonderful sativa high...unparalleled. I bought a gram, said "Wow" a BUNCH of times as I smelled, rolled and smoked it, then immediately returned to the counter and bought three more grams and 10 seeds.

The one gram was E14, the next three grams were E40, and they were all gone by the end of the day.

The 10 seeds were E62, and the f2s harvested from it will last me the rest of my natural life.

Hmmm. Wonder which was a better investment?
