Greeting fellow damsters

Hello from a English Damlover,
I have been a frequent visitor to amsterdam ever since 1996 when I met a Dutch girl whilst on holiday in France and arranged to visit her in her home country. The relationship ended several years later, but not before numerous visits to the Nederlands and even a disastrously unsuccessful attempt to live together for 4 months. Since then, I have made either yearly or twice yearly pilgrimages to the Dam to escape my normal life and just generally take some time out from life.
I only discovered this forum in Aprilish but I have to say the knowledge/advice gained form here considerably enhanced my last visit in May. So a huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to both the site and forum. Having now joined the forum, I will try to contribute my own thoughts and opinions based on my experiences and it'd be cool to link up with some of you guys for a smoke if we're ever in the Dam at the same time.
