You're about the 5th or 6th person on this thread in the past year who witnessed this funny business from the budtender. Maybe I'll give this place a pass on my next trip.

I concur. I was here in December last year. The BT is an arse. Why spend money here when there is Paradox, Utopia and Katsu?

I'm not the biggest fan on earth of Dampkring but I like spending an hour in the morning when they open as it's not too crowded and their hot chocolate hit the spot. sometimes they have too really nice hash (sensible, malika, noor, habibi comes to mind). BTenders usually not so nice but never been short-changed, but 2 years ago they gave me more change 8) . on 2 different occasions I got served by the owner and he was supercool and spent a couple of minutes talking aqbout the gear and asked me about my experience in their shop etc.. If you like a shop I think you should not stay away from it just for that as I don't think this always happens, just check in front of the tender the change and you'll be fine

After a hard days exploring I stopped off at the Dampkring for a coffee on the way back to the hotel, I decideded that I could treat myself to a nice piece of hash while I was at it. It must have been around four in the afternoon and the place was packed. I fought my way to the counter at the back and looked at the menu, it was surprisingly different from the one at the Dampkring 2 where I had been a couple of days previously; I opted to buy the top end Riffman Sensabille €15, the description was 'a river in paradise'.

I went back to the main bar and was lucky that when i was ordering my coffee one of the bar stools came free, so i grabed it. I started to roll a joint Of this lovely, clean, soft, Moroccan hash. Once I had it alight I could see where they got the description from, each pull was like inhaling the air of heaven. It is defeniatly worth paying the money for the top shelf riffman this was probably the nicest hash I had on the whole trip.

You really caught my attention! This hash seems to be wonderful, I think I will try it the next time ... Someone more experienced and already has something to say about it? 8)

I'm in no way a hash expert as I mostly smoke weed but although I agree it was really pleasant to smoke the sensible lacked a bit in strength imo. That's not what its all about of course but for 15 eurous I expect a bit more bang for my buck

i normally stay away from iceolator hash and pre rolls for that matter, but i was in the dam with my cousin who brought loads of pre rolls during our trip and i was persuaded to buy more pre rolls than i intended ;).
anyway i tried a pre rolled joint of moonshine for 9 euros from here (i think its 60 for a gram)and after a while i was slumped against the wall in the seat at the back near the storeroom just staring into space, the bud tender came over and put his hand on my shoulder with a concerned expression and asked me if i was ok, i told him what i smoked and that i was more than ok and this effect was what i came here for, he told me he has sleep problems and that the moonshine is quite heavy and that he uses it to sleep.
if i was at home and not in a social situation where i have to be somewhat aware of whats going on around me i can easily see falling asleep before i had finished a joint of this stuff.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite coffeeshops the original dampkring always seems to have one of the best menu's around. compared to most other cs around the strains seem a couple euros cheaper across the board.

Monday
Stopped in early in the morning a few hours after landing grabbed a gram of a few different sativas.

A5 x skunk#1 buds were actually orange in colour which put me off, smelt great though, i wouldnt buy "brown"weed but the girlfriend got this and it turned out to be great smoke. Im thinking it could have been sun dried which would have turnt it that colour and converted some of the thc to cbd as this was prety debilatating for a 16 week sativa.

Ç5 usually on the menu at both dampkring sites. Usualy a good smoke this time didnt dissapoint either nce taste and not much indica coming through in the stone so good for walking around and smoking

Hph smelt great but it didnt traanslate too great to the smoke, a little bland tasting stil decent though

Mexican haze. Just lovely pointed at a nice bud and asked if i could buy it. Weighed about 1.7 and worked out around 24e. Beautiful smoke, if your here and it looks nice get some.

Rifman hash sennsabille or something like that got just a half g. Menu said river in paradise so i was intrigued. This stuff was incredible bubble and melted under heat more than most of the bubble hash in dam. Left a thick hash oil taste on you throat when smoked. Maybe a bit of a caramel taste too. Hits you i the face before you can eve finish a spliff. Top qaulity hash 5/5

Tuesday

Came back to try some of the extracts got 15euros worth each of the jelly hash , simpson kush and futch dawg

Asked for a bong and was very happy when the bud tender looks up and hands me a roor little sister and a fresh gauze.

Sit in the window watching everyone do their shopping whilst sampling these and some others id picked up around the city, simpson kush was probably pressed kief as it didnt melt and wss yellow. It had been pressed very lightly and fell apart easily. Vrry strong stone bit of a lemony kushy taste. Like you would expect from og kush kif.

Jelly hash had a deep dark hash oil taste and was potent. Full melt and left almost no reside on the gauze

Futch dawg less potent than the jelly hash but alot nicer taste.

Good gear. Good staff. Good interior. And roor bongs. Dunno why people bash this place so much

and right now I would say Pineapple Haze is whats most people are smoking on there.

Its a good strong smoke.

The sensible is better than what I had last time. Definitely different as it was harder this time and didnt smell as pungent. The smoke was really nice and smooth though and I found myself drifting off into a dreamworld. Not much effect in the body

Smoking the Sensibillle right now. Incredibly oily, high quality hash. VERY dreamy, this is a smoke to zone out to. Pricey, but definitely worth it. The menu in Dampkring looked as varied and extensive as ever. Yeah, it's touristy but they have quality smoke.

From what I can tell, at any given moment, they seem to have the broadest sativa selection of any shop, while many others seem to have just one or three good ones.
