hey there..
I was also abit dissapointed with Durrah. It was ok but not quite worth the money, imo. The old version (Aug/2014) of Sensabile was maybe worth the 15 euros, cause the taste was so amazing, but i won't buy Durrah again for 14 euros/g.

I bought it three weeks ago and the potency was ok for a morrocan hash, but if you have a high tolerancy when you smoke morrocans, they don't hit you that hard. Traditional hash plant-cannabis varieties aren't always super potent in THC, like over 20% THC as the modern western indoor sativa-indica hybrids many times are.

Marok21 wrote: had it, too. Like you said super sticky black "hash". The Budtender from there I know since years told me he heard it's iceolator from Amnesia made in marocco... but he wasn't sure about that. He also said that it's to sticky for "normal" hash... my first thought was that it is maybe some rosin made of hash or somerhing like that but who knows
Hey, bro..
When i asked the BT if Durrah was hash made with Pakistani or Amnesia plants, cause i have seen both claims, I was told that Durrah is mixture of afghani and morrocan plants! LOL ..the staff really knows their product, heh-heh.

..but i think that might be quite fitting with the taste and effect of Durrah, morrocco-affie mix, that is. Had a little flu when smoked it so maybe i didn't get the full taste right, but to me, the aroma had this little spicey-peppery hash flave in it, similar to the high quality Afghan hash Paradox was selling in August 2014. Also the effect was to that direction, thou the supposed Morrocan genetics in Durrah, makes it a little more high/up-effect smoke than the Afghan from Paradox was.

Yea, it's too soft to be normal hash (pollen only), and iceolator-hash when dry ,it's usually like powdery tiny "moon rocks" that can be quite hard, so i doubt it's iceolator making it soft.
My guess is that there could be some hash oil in there = Good quality pollens + lower quality pollen turned into oil via alcohol extraction(This is how they made hash oil on the Greenhouse's Strain Hunters- expedition to Morrocan Rif doku. You can watch it on YouTube, and the other episodes as well; Manali/Kulu India, Jamaica, Mallawi ..maybe there were others aswell)

I also bought some Cheese, which is supposed to be the original UK Cheese. To me, it is the very same plant Grey Area is selling as UK/Exodus Cheese.
A bit under-flushed before harvesting, so a little harshness and burned taste in the smoke, but it wasn't the worst i've had i Dam.

c5 noor rifman has been the hash of the trip for me so far. Lovely soft brown sugar consistency with a strong clear energetic high. Vapes really well.

Constant queues early afternoon so had to quickly buy by nose, sniffed half a dozen strains, SOMARI absolutely stood out, sour grapefruit odour, almost sickly, kept sticking my beak in to double check the rancid fuel pong. NYD x with Kush, 12e a gram, purchased two.

OCEANS 12 HAZE really stood out too for its soapy haze stench, vaped a load of it before and during a screening of HATEFUL EIGHT at the EYE cinema, sat smiling for 3 hours, great film and great weed, 11e per gram.

I still hope that the Rifman Sensabille will be one time as good as in the past  so I check it out from time to time :D
Quality is pretty good at the moment (3 weeks ago). Not like in the past but a better batch than a few other batches I had last year. It´s not so dark anymore and it´s made from different genetics for sure...

Overall I liked the taste combined with the effect pretty much. It smokes more like a "classic Import" than a "new school" hash. Maybe still a little overpriced but it was what I was looking for

Marok:

What is your preference between the "C5 Noor", and the current batch of "Sensabille"?

And what is the current price on each? 14-16 I'm assuming, but more precise would be nice!

hmm it´s not easy
both hashes are pretty different:

C5 Noor (16€/g) is a ice o lator hash probably made in morocco from NL genetics... the smell is pretty like the strain it´s made from the effect for me is strong in the head
and very activating. Different effect than usual imported hash more like ice o lator  ...

Sensabille (15€/g) is a more "classic" imported creamy hash with a great smell. Probably it´s made also from foreign genetics (but not from NL or Kush Strains maybe paki or morocco/paki mix) with a nice stoned/high effect and a great taste.

So both are nice for their own. If you ask me I would prefer the Sensabille because usually I like that classic hash made in morocco with genetics from morocco, india, pakistan more than "new school" hashes like Ice O Lators.

Don´t get me wrong I like Ice O Lators or these new amnesia and kush hashes very much but when I have to make a decission I would take the classic (of course it has to be good quality^^) Import but it´s nice to have this variety :D

I agree I'm also at least as much of a fan of classic hashes, as I am of new genetics (NL/US/UK) type hashes; I would say. How similar is this current batch of Sensabille to its glory days like (1.5 years ago at least)? The two times I checked last year after not frequenting Dampkring Original for a long while, it was hard oxidized shit and I was quite pissed haha! Is it still 14 per gram? And what's the Noor C5 going for 16 like its predecessor?

Edit to add: have a mate visiting this weekend so I'll be touring the CS's heavy, definitely will have Dampkring Original & 2e Kamer on the list, for the Spui Micro-CS Crawl special

DeLeuksteNUGS16 wrote:How similar is this current batch of Sensabille to its glory days like (1.5 years ago at least)?
The current batch is made of completely different genetics... the "old" Sensabille was maybe made of Indian genetics... pretty dark fresh creamy and this smell/taste was really awesome

The current batch is not so dark... smell and taste are different (and not so strong). Furthermore it´s not so super fresh as the old Sensabille was but it´s maybe one of the best "classic" hashes (or the best^^) I found in the last months. The smell/taste is not so super nice as the old version but when you smoke it you know from smell and taste that it´s some good shit :D

Overall the new batch is not as good as the old especially in smell/taste :D but it´s still very nice hash and like I said before one of the best "classic" hashes I found in the last months.

Yeah I got that shit, too and that was the first time I felt ripped of by Dampkring#1 hashes

Noor C5 is still going for 16€ and Sensabille for 15€ per gram
