I just read about a new sentence of Italian "cassazione" that completely forbid the growing of ganja even if for personal use..... this is the situation in Italy.....my God

Has it been legal to grow in Italy? If I understand it right, people are protesting a court case from 2003, where someone got fined and 4 months of jail. I have heard Italy is conservative, but not as bad as parts of the U.S.

No geoffk growing has never been legal in Italy....but there are any courts that say that growing 1 plant for personal use is not a crime and others that say it's a crime. This is a definitive sentence that completely forbid the growing of ganja even if it is for personal use.
