Pure indica strains in Amsterdam

Post by Tweedle do »

Its confirmed 12 days after my first visit to Amsterdam i have booked my next trip. Im going back again in 2 weeks time. Does anyone have any info on pure indica strains in dam? not 25-75% not 50-50 and not even 75-25% i mean 100% pure indica like original Hindu Kush. If so what are the recommended strains?

I can only vouch for Big Buddha's Cheese, including Blue and they are both hybrids. Cheese was crossed with an Afghani to get seeds, though I think the original Cheese is an Afghani pheno. Hopefully my friends across the pond will step up to correct this. But I'm pretty sure any Cheese you come across is a hybrid.

100% indica landraces like afghani, lebanese and nepali are probably not easy to get in amsterdam; i've heard that bubblegum (serious seeds) is almost 100% indica; other strains which are nearly pure indicas are: northern lights (nirvana), mk ultra (th-seeds), black domina (sensi seeds), sensi star (paradise seeds),...

You could do a search for some seed companies and see what is Indica. Of course that doesn't guarantee you'll find that seed company's strains in a given shop. Or the shop could take the name of a strain and sell something different. ie Dampkring's Powerplant. Better yet, stop by some seed shops and tell them what you're looking for and they might point you in right direction.

What is De Dampkring's PowerPlant? I've never tried it, is it different to other powerplant, and if so, how so?

Just as an example Dampkring list their Powerplant as an indica in their coffeeshop. Whereas Dutch Passion lists theirs as a sativa. Just one of them things. Ask questions about the bud before purchase.

I think in those cases you have to believe the seed bank -- shops would be sloppier with their facts.

True Johnny. They also use the names of popular strains with their own sometimes different strains.
