This time, I agree and think that this is probably one of the most acurate statements of the thread.

on that note I can only add that Ameriskunk, you have brought nothing posotive to the forum, you have not shown much attempt to converse normally with other forum members and you did'nt even have the decentcy to introduce yourself... on that basis, I have nothing left to offer you.

You clearly have a social dissorder. You have a lot of growing up to do and you won't even understand any of this until you have matured a little. We have all acted and behaved out of character due to the way in which you have conducted yourself... and to be frank with you... it's getting a touch boring.

I would suggest that if you don't like how "we" are being with you then you should leave... why continue with something that clearly is not working for you.

In my eyes, this has gotten far out of control. The discussion isn't even about drugs or cultures anymore. In fact, it's not even a discussion at all any more. It's just pages and pages (at least 4 pages?) of immature bickering and name calling.

I Totally agree.....this quite honestly has been the only forum online that I have ever actually enjoyed simply because of what has usually been the laid back and intelligent friendly atmosphere ........this forum has been in many ways very much like being around some good people you would like to have over in your home and sit down for a smoke and a visit and I have certainly never experienced such anywhere else online it has been what keeps me coming back from time to time.

Just my opinion but I think unless you want to loose what we have here then just like in your home trouble makers should be shown the door.

I’m reluctant to play dictator by deleting posts or members because I believe in free speech and don’t want to start a war. Freedom must be exercised responsibly if it is not to be lost. It is for all of the members of the forum to keep it civilised.

I’ve said before that the one thing I don’t like to see is members abusing each other. I can’t stop you though so it’s up to you not to do it. I don’t see a need for any kind of hierarchy so everyone is equal and equally responsible for exercising their freedom in a constructive way.

When arguments have erupted in the past the membership has collectively moved to cool the situation down and get back to being civilised again. I have every confidence that you will do so again.

If in any of my posts I have offended members both new and old... and yes that goes for you too Ameriskunk. I don't set out to create problems and I have tried to be as polite as I can, especially when I've been really pissed off.

However, I stand by my morals and by what I have said, I'm happy to converse with anybody but do feel we should all try and get back to how it was before this all happend.

Not entirely sure if I should be saying sorry but if it helps smooth things over then all is good.

I think Ameriskunk is long gone. After experiencing him on a bunch of other forums, I can say with confidence that his absence (or an 'ignore' button) is the only way you'll ever get a break from him.

I was apologising to the serious members of this forum for fanning the flames, and for feeding the troll even when my own sig advises against it.

As far as apologising to AS, the hell with that.

Most everything can be seen as a matter of perspective, but not everything actually is. There are plenty of positions which are objectively, right or wrong (postmodernism be damned).

Out of 300+ posts, I haven't yet seen one from AS that could be called 'right', whether we're talking about factual accuracy, normal social interaction or anything else.

Personally, I reckon one of the biggest problems around, that's driving history in its current weird direction is the false equivalence that's seen everywhere in the media.
Proven lies are given 'equal time' to the truth, as if both positions are equally valid, and physical reality is just a matter of opinion.

Maybe I've veered off topic.
OTOH, that false equivalence is one of the main tools used to keep weed illegal, and to maintain the public image of it as something unwholesome.
