Table For One

Im off to the dam at the end of may. I will be travelling solo and just wondered if anyone has had problems getting a table for a single person in a restaurant. Also can anyone reccomend a nice indian/italian to go to.

I wouldn't imagine getting a table for 1 would be a problem, the Dutch dont mind sharing tables with strangers.

As far as curry is concerned you have to try Balraj situated down Haarlemmerdijk, one of the best I've ever had.

boner knows his food so you can trust what he says here

and before balraj you could have a beer and a smoke at barney's uptown, it is only a short hop to balraj from there
