What should I get...?

Post by Linwë »

Hi.. :D

Sorry if this question is already answered somewhere else in the forum, I checked but I didn't find what I was looking for.. :o

Myself and the bf are going to visit A'dam for the first time, for a week, and will be staying a bit out of town..

The website says the hostel is located close to metro-station Amsterdam-Holendrecht.

Anyway, we will probably be using the metro a lot back and forth, and I was wondering - what do you think is the best ticket(s) to buy for our stay?

Any responses are much appreciated..

:D

I always get a 'strippencart', with that you just jump on and off trams, however I only use the trams. :)

It's a 'strippencart' of tickets and you get one stamped each time you get on a tram.

As long as it's in Amsterdam (doesn't have to be the city centre) then yes those work.

Rookies coffeeshop do a smoking cruise, no fee just a donation to the captain, I think it's called St. Nicholas?

Found this on their site under FAQ's,

'Is it true we can eat, drink, and smoke on your boats?
Sure is! But keep in mind, you can't go to the bathroom because we don't have one.'
