Seems like they don't care about heroin, coke and crack which are all big problems in parts of the UK...but it's all out war on a simple herb with many medical properties and no fatal dosage, one which nearly all the politicians have used, and one which many of their own kids use.
Wonder which Industry is sponsoring this current insanity?

Sir Niall I understand where you are coming from but my post comes from the fact that we have all paid taxes in the UK for The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs report for the goverment to ignore their advice. The police are not fully backing the decision to reclassify but Brown & Smith are taking no notice.
This is all causing much confusion again between the authorities and the tax paying public.
Roll on the next bank holiday in the UK and hopefully my next trip to Amsterdam.

Yep cant argue with your point there dude, its an obvious piss take that Browns gone ahead in-spit of the advice from goverment agenicies put in place to ensure that drug policies stay effective.
But my point is that its all very well talking about it but we do need to take action, its in times like these ( of continuing oppression ) that movements/communities ( the cannabis community) either stand up or accept the way things are done and complain about it.
Its a responsilibity in my book, a responsiblity for those sick people who have no oppurtunity to go to protests becasue of their condition. Its fun to us smoking up is a enjoyable activity to allow us to un-wind and look at things from a different point of view for a couple of hours. To those sick people its a medicine, one that may improve their qualitly of life! So i think it is up to us able bodied smokers to say something against it, not just keep it shut and accept what the goverment tells us what to do.
Its gotta start somewhere afterall!

We could always see if a new "elected" PM will take the advice of their advisory council.
Good luck to us all.... Looks like we are going to need it.
