Even took the locals on ,in the sunday open pool.....failed!!!!..next time
The menu this trip was huuuge and ones that stick out were the Mothers finest..and my mate geordie reckons there Jack Herer is the best in the Dam

I've missed out on Nes each time I've been to the Dam, but I won't miss it again. Heading back in late November, just after the Cup, and will definitely be stopping by. Hope that Hindu Kush is around...never tried Sage n' Sour though...might have to. Jack Herrer is a local favorite of mine, so I'll have to try and see if it really is the best at Nes! AK-47 is tempting too...haha that's a lot of weed already though!
Looking forward to stopping by and getting it handed to me in pool anyway...cheers.

Yes NES is one of my favourite places to chill; I discovered it about a year ago on one of my regular CS crawls.
Anyone know what’s on the menu now and is beer still on sale?
I will be visiting DAM again next Friday and will certainly be calling in again. Are Simon and DC still working there?

i love me some DC...
too bad dave and simon arent on the Menu... teehee
I was told when i was there in oct that they would only be selling weed (no more Alcohol) starting next spring after they remodel the current location. DC said they would probably be opening another new location where they will have a bar. I just hope they get the Coffeeshop completed by the time i git back there in April!

I don't believe ya didn't see it, clearly between Stella Blue and the Diesel. DC (ice, sativa, indica) 9.50 g....25 euro for 3!!
Yep the beer's still ..erm, here. Will be until March 31st 2007. Then after a 3 day hangover, the Nes gets a makeover. Which will hopefully be done and dusted for 4.20.
Those who are over during the Cup week we'll be opening at noon Sun, MONDAY, Tues, Weds and Thurs going back to normal for Friday. For a bit of fun and a change The bottom 2 hash and weeds from the list will be coming off and a few surprises will be going on....hmmm Bubblegum Diesel!?!. With Canna Sutra just finished today and Pot of Gold ending tomorrow, should be utter confusion for the staff for awhile, afterall, we have to test the new gear so we know what we're sellin. Remember, no matter what anybody tells ya....it IS work! .

it was more "pubby" than i thought - almost felt like i was intruding as i entered. definately a fun atmosphere. shame dave wasnt there when i stopped by but i still managed to get pen to paper in the book - have no idea what i said - just remember the pacer was crap and the picture Redeye drew before me was cool. Picked up some stella Blue - probably the tastiest bud of the trip - somehow it did taste "blue" if that makes sense ... and some hindu Kush on recommendation. Cool place. Pool looked fun. Looked like id be waiting for a while....
t'Nes has some good ice

I've been to t'Nes twice now. Someone at the 2e Kamer recommended I go there. First time I went in and wanted to pick up some super silver haze since I really like sativa influence :-) They recommened I get the White Widow Ice-o-lator. But, I went with the Haze and actually I was a bit disappointed, not bad just not great. Should have gotten the ice.
I was back again this February and determied to rectify my error. When I requested "5 grams of White Widow Ice", I was greeted with a smile and shown the excellent product. However, the bud-tender recommended I "upgrade" and he showed me what I think they called "Tisla" ice. So, I snagged that. Very excellent. Forget the price, but not too stratospheric, something like 20-25 euro a gram.
Atmosphere there is rather "pubby" and centered around the pool table action. As it was always rather full and generally younger crowd, I didn't hang. But, I would have felt comfortable to stay and have a brew, seems like a friendly place. The bud-tenders are enthusiastic about their product and I like that.

Had the privilege of sitting in the Nes when it closed it's coffeeshop doors for the last time. Picked up a gram of 4th of July (Afghan/Nevilles Haze) and one of Kushage. Cheers, Nes (and DC, of course). We Thank You.
