Had a few places in mind, and I figured if I went early enough (6-7pm) then I would be okay for a table if reservations aren't required.
I wasn't planning to eat at anywhere particularly expensive or swanky. All the places I checked out seemed to be pretty average (20 euros approx per head).
The only place I would of had to make a reservation was a small Eetcafe by Museumplein that was packed to the rafters over Xmas, I have heard the Supperclub (literally opposite Abraxa's entrance) is the place to be seen and you
have to make a reservation.
You should be alright with your times, from my experiance the dutch like to eat early (5pm onwards) and if you book a table then its yours for the night if you wish!

The better the place, the more likely you'll need reservations.
On weekends, w/o'em, & you wanna eat in prime time, expect to wait at any middlin' or really good place.

I love asian dishes.
Dude, you are truly knowledgeable to know Wok to Walk..
That place rocks... the asian family that owns the place is funny
as shit.. there is a mother and daughter duo that cooks that food
right in a wok in front of you. You just pay and move down the line
and pick ingredients... THEN the kicker, you pick a sauce flavor..
personaly I like the oyster sauce, but the curry is awesome too...

Man, I am off my rocker, I replied to "sonic blue" instead of
"Boner" regarding the picture of WOK TO WALK.
I wanted to add the female night chef (daughter) is quite hot!
Hey Boner have you ever checked her out?

Yeah she's hot

she wouldn't cook my dish to start with as I chose beef and peanuts with sate sauce and kept asking if I was sure, I just kept saying yes then when it came down to it I had to swap with the mrs

Think I've got the restaurant thing sussed. I have picked out the more average restaurants for a variety of cooking styles and I'm not going during high season at all so I think I'll be safe.
I plan to make my restaurant experiences a major part of my hopefully major trip report.
