Amsterdam Tattoo Convention 2008

I took my wife to get her 2nd tattoo yesterday and picked up a flyer, while at Tattoo Palace. Here's the info:

The Amsterdam Tattoo Convention 2008 will take place between 30th May and the 1st June in a new, revised location: Borchland - near the Amsterdam Arena soccer stadium. Each year, the Amsterdam Tattoo Convention exhibits tattoo art and culture from around the globe .

This year, the focus is on Tiki culture from the Pacific .There will be art, traditional dance and of course traditional tattooing from that region. Tiki outfits are welcome! Aside from the noted Polynesian artists, we will also be featuring world famous artists in every tattoo style you can imagine.

openinghours Friday 30 may 14.00 till 23.00 Saturday 31 may 11.00 till 23.00 Sunday 1st june 11.00 till 20.00 entree € 17.50 No pets. children under 12 with guidance free entrance .We have kids entertainment .

Tattooconvention Amsterdam is working together with the dutch health authorities GGD.

I'd check that out if I was around. It sounds pretty cool. I just got a little work done on my sleeve the other day.

Hey Puff, did you end up going to the convention in June. I'm considering it for 2009. Their website is down though. I was just looking for some more info on it. I've found loads of pics by searching, but not much concrete info.

Unfortunately I was not able to attend the convention. I did get myself a new tatt this year though. :D Love my ink! :lol:

I'm sure there will be more info on the '09 convention at the beginning of next year. I'll keep you posted. :wink: One Love.
