Well hello...
Last summer me and a couple of mates decided we'd go inter-railing & deigned that along the way Amsterdam would have to be on our list. Not unaware of the pleasures of the smoke we wisely decided this would be our last destination as starting the trip there would mean ending it there. In short; we wouldn't leave. As it turned out we spent three days (or so the receipts in my pocket told me), in 'Dam at the end of the trip and it was indeed worth the wait!
Anyways... Condensed, we knew we had to go back and it's not but a week until we're there! We've been planning the trip for about 2 months and during this time I've been ferreting around the internet and this site has been by far the most helpful, so I guess a good starting point would be to say 'thanks'...
Afterwards I'll try and add my experience to this veritable encyclopaedia of green delights.
