Sorry mate i havent got a response back from them yet.NirvanaEJ wrote:well i still dont know if i can book London to Amsterdam from here in NY...
My opinion would be I dont see why not because it is a ticketless airline, so no need to send tickets to you. Just print them out and your done. Would also depend on the kind of card your using to pay. Visa, Mastercard etc.
There is nowhere on the site that says what countries you can book from so id say go for it.
If there is going to be a problem id reckon itll be on filling in your address, if it doesnt recognise it your out of luck, but it wont have charged you anyway.
seems right about that, i have a Visa and a Mastercard so i can pay with whatever method they want. but that is the exact problem im worried about jolly, the site only lets you choose departing and arriving european cities and addresses are setup different than american ones. maybe theyd take a reservation over the phone instead?, do they have international toll free? does that even exist? sorry im ramblingjollylittlehun wrote:Sorry mate i havent got a response back from them yet.NirvanaEJ wrote:well i still dont know if i can book London to Amsterdam from here in NY...

Re: Summer flights to Amsterdam - Price watch
You know, the other thing I have noticed is that it is always about a hundred Euros higher to fly from Amsterdam to the states then the exact same flights coming from the states. Puffin, I would like to go back to Denver and visit my son now or in the early fall, any advice?Puffin13 wrote:Summer flights to Amsterdam - Price watch
Each month I examine the trends in airfare to Amsterdam from North America. As of late May 2008, things are looking fairly grim for anyone hoping to snag a really cheap flight. The insane price of fuel has definitely crept its way into airfare prices, and yet still the airlines are getting clobbered and in some cases cutting back on service, which will only make prices go higher.
I use a database tool to find the lowest possible fare between cities in a given month, so below you’ll find the list of airfares to Amsterdam for trips any time in July 2008, and these prices are valid as of late May 2008. Chances are good that if you search for your own flight the fares will start a bit higher, but at least these prices listed below will help you with a baseline so you’ll know if the fare you are being quoted is near the minimum or more inflated.
Best prices on travel to Amsterdam in July 2008
* Atlanta - $1068
* Boston - $877
* Chicago - $1046
* Los Angeles - $772 (next lowest is $959, so this is a fluke)
* New York City - $931
* Portland, Or - $959
* Seattle - $946
* San Francisco - $772
* Toronto - $772
It always amazes me how Atlanta, which is home to the busiest airport in the world, is always at or near the top of the price list. Perhaps the fact that Delta alone accounts for over 50% of all passenger traffic means there isn’t much real competition at all. If you fly from Seattle or Los Angeles you might have to change planes in Atlanta on the way to Amsterdam, and you can get tickets about US$300 less than those starting their journey at Hartsfield International.

Thats not really the point mate if you do it that way it can be a lot more expensive. He wants to book the flight early so he can get it for £50 return or less.Umbyboy wrote:Listen...you can book flight from Easyjet or Ryanair but they just fly from Europe. If you buy a flight from New York to London, you can see what time you lead and buy a ticket with easyjet from London.Easy.

This and the dollar being shit are the reason I won't make it back for a few yearsNirvanaEJ wrote:yes i know about that man, ive been checking prices every day for different times and theres no way to get a ticket for cheaper than $500, and thats only off peak times during the winter, direct flights from NY go for as much as over 3 grand...
When Things Are Down Get High!!
Just book the same way any European would for Easyjet. They are budget and u get nothing by mail. its all emailed to you, so there shouldnt be any reason why not. I suggest that you try to book the ticket and come back if you have problems. They want your money! Put your ZIP where it says Post Code, and use your initiative.
