Weed with alcohol

Post by Soulboy »

Hi ADC Crew, :)

i would like to get some advices about mixing weed with alcohol in a bootle...

i explain:
i have some rest of completely wet local weed from last year's growing (the garbage you got at bottom of bag when you finish your stock of weed) and i would like to do some experiment... :P

so, from your experience, what kind of alcohol will fit the best with the taste of the weed ?
i was thinking about some brown rhum with a vanilla stick... :?

i was thinking putting between 5 to 10 grams into the alcohol... will it be enough ?? and how much you think it's have to stay before the THC will be solved into the alcohol ??

thanx in advance for your advices !!

I've had a buddy of mine try to produce a drink called "Creme de cannabis" or some such, it was a quite complicated procedure (three rinses w. vodka over a 72 hour period, clean of with boiling water or something) and even though he used a shit load of ok quality pot, mixed in honey and mint leaves for the taste it was still barely drinkable and not very potent. I wouldn't recommend it (my buddy is a biochemist btw, so he shouldn't have fuked it up, kinda knows his way around organic substances ;) )...

If I understand the procedure you should be able to make ice (bubble) hash with wet weed (keeping the temperature bellow 4 C crystalises the cannabinoid oils), but the yield from ice hash is quite low so depending on your total stash this might not be a good solution. If it is crap weed I guess cooking with it is out of the question also?

I'd cook it. Throw it in some butter and make cookies. Before I got on the plane on my last trip, I threw a half gram in some butter and spread it on a muffin. I had to pull over and let my wife drive on the way to the airport. Of course it was good weed, but if I had smoked that amount it wouldn't have got me that fucked up.

some friends of mine once collected stalk over a year and put it into a bottle of vodka, the theory behind it being the vodka would absorb the thc. it tasted *nasty*. It probably wouldnt be as bad with bud but id advise against it!

If the gear is good 'nuf for it, you go cook!<with heavy chinese accent > Now, go cook!

The "butter" approach, as described above, is always a winner!

THC is not alcohol soluble, as I understand it.

But for god sakes, Gin is what you want to use if you're going for taste. The juniper will blend nicely with the pine and citrus overtones of the weed.

Butter is the way to go, really,

THC in alcohol based drinks\beer, now thats something I'd certainly buy in Amsterdam. Just as long as the alcohol content aint to high, say 5% or I'll likely get half cut before the THC get into my system properly if it's a hot day lol.

I have heard of a marijuana flavored vodka being available in some Jordaan bar.

Enjoy
