Finally.....Day 1 review trip to A'Dam 7th-10th June

Ok a little late..but here's a review of my trip to Dam 7th-10th June 08

Day 1 - Well we arrived at Stansted waaaaay to early for our flight. It was not due to leave for Eindhoven until 06:55...but being an eager beaver...i insisted getting there 3 hours before...only to remember when we got there that i'd already checked in online...ooops this could be the start of a nightmare......but wait...the bar is open...there is a god!!!

Well after an uneventful flight...where a can of coke small enough for a borrower and a tin of pringles which have to be the most expensive ever, we landed in Eindhoven.....so why are there no buses outside....yepp...there is a bus strike in Eindhoven. We paid 5 euros each just to get ferried to the train station so we could finally reach Dam.

2 hours later...and i'm in heaven. We arrived at Central Station and headed straight for Hill Street Blues where we bought 1g of white Widow....damn who forgot the Rizzlas...that'll be me....so off it was to go and buy some rips....

Now the White Widow in HSB in my opinion, was one of the best forst smokes i hav had in all my trips over....not too harsh, and left a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth...so it would have been rude not to have 4 more.

Second stop was Coffeeshop 36...now this has always been one of my favourite places to relax and unwind....and unwind we did......we decided to get Bubblegum...which i'm afraid to say was not all it was cracked up to be....i'm a heavy smoker...but this totally screwed me up for the day....we had a couple of doobies only for my feet to seemingly be glued to the floor....i needed saving...this came in the form of 5 guys who sat in the couch opposite me and the missus.....a young whipper snapper with his hand down his trousers scratching his meat and 2 veg is enough for me to get out of there.

So...it's now about...hmm 11am....we still have 5 hours before we can check in at the Bulldog, but we decide to take a walk down there to dump our bags......upon arriving we met the receptionist we became friendly with last time...and that was it...straight through to the bar......on went the nintendo wii....and from then on it was all quite a blur....we smoked what can only be described as ...well shit loads really........

Will post details od day 2 tomorrow....when i can translate what i actually wrote on paper!!!!!!

Nice to see others also stay at the Bulldog and smoke in HSB!. Was thinking I was the only 1 for a while lol.
