What do people think?

When it was downgraded to a class c I thought "not long now..." but now it's going back to class b (WTF are they doing!?) it seems a long way off again :(

Way back when (60's, 70's) we had the LCC (Legalise Cannabis Campaign) the Smokey Bear Picnics (Hyde Park, Brockwell Park, UK wide etc.) with marches, demos and we're STILL waiting, face it peeps those in power have been seduced by the biggest drug addiction known to human kind.........MONEY

it does seem funny how the bodyshop, duchess of northumbland and various other "commercial" entities can get licences to grow .....and we can't

In France Phillip Morris trademarked a Marley brand cigarette. I've read about a patent in the U.S. in the Cannabible, but I think this might just be another pot myth. France, hmm, seems an unlikely place to start. http://www.iht.com/articles/1993/11/12/marley.php an older article for what it's worth.

Marijuana grows everwhere, can be grown by anyone and would be extremely difficult to tax; hence the British government will never legalise cannabis- not in a million years.

MORE things will be banned- THAT is the way we are going. Always and forever, the choices have been made, wheels set in motion and there is no turning back and no way to resist.

NO LEGAL WEED IN ENGLAND- more and more harmless people having their house invaded at 5AM in the morning and held at gunpoint before being taken to an overcrowded jail and incarcerated for years for selling a herb that grows naturally all over our planet- one of mother nature's or God's gifts to us.

some day depending on certain goverments coming to power or not. Possible chance with the conservatives as their massively wanting to grab votes so if the popular public thought wants it legalised then it may happen.

But as always theres heaps of critisim of putting it up to Class B but no bugger will ever legalise it when they get into power, they'll lose to many Daily Mail reader votes.

Forgive my somewhat lack of the process of the law in full. But am I wrong or correct in saying that just because that upper-crust sack of poo has gone against EXPERT advice to keep cannabis to a Class C drug and decided no it's going back to a Class B drug first have to go via a vote of parliment first?.

If I recall correctly it HAD to go via a parlimentry vote to go to a Class C drug in the first place. So surely the same process has to follow to raise it back to Class B?.

And the way even half the Labour party MP's feel about G Brown MP, PM TURD etc being true, there is how much chance of his personal view and opinion becoming law with reguards to cannabis are what?.

Personally I don't think it matters who is in charge of the country politically as they are all just as bad as each other. I feel there are too many toff's and upper class in the country to please and keep sweet that cannabis will ever be decriminalised in my life time.

Sorry if that sounds stereotypical of the English but that is the way I have felt about our country for many years now.

well said valo!

it can never be legalised in this country, If they did and put tax on it, would u still buy it? when there is already a network of dealers out there who dont tax it! say it goes legal, cost per oz=160+tax@20%=192!! would u pay that!!! no nither would i! u would go straight down ur mates and get, good bud( as it now legal!!!!) at a better price coz he can now shift more!! coz it legal!!!

This is just one example of why, im sure there are a million more.

I personally think it wont be legalised in this country as long as the US has the pull on the strings of our goverment and as long as they do we will just have to put up with it! All u have to look at is the fact that our goverment for the first time EVER has gone against one of there own advisery boards, a board set up by them with the best staff to advise on these matters. so y have them if all ur going to do is ignore there advice and waste our money for there research!!! from what i understand the chairman of the board has resigned due to this out of princapal! this just shows how they feel about the fuckers in charge!!!!

rant over! another j rolled!
