Firstly mushrooms are not banned yet, they are waiting until December to make a decision.
Secondly, you cant smoke tobacco in a c/shop any longer. But you can smoke pure weed joints or bongs etc inside. Tobacco and tobacco in joints can be smoked in the outside seating area, in places such as Ricks, Greenhouse, Greenplace, Amnesia to name but a few....
As for accomodation try....

Have fun.

First axeman9, where did you get your info on waiting to December for a decision on a possible mushroom ban?axeman9 wrote: Firstly mushrooms are not banned yet, they are waiting until December to make a decision.

Secondly axeman9, your info on smoking joints with tobacco inside coffeeshops is wrong. You can smoke joints with tobacco or pure tobacco inside coffeeshops, bars & nightclubs as long as it's in a room where no employees work.

You can only smoke Tobacco in c/shops which ahve a seperate area. There are quite a few places that will have smoking areas for tobacco joints so your comment is wrong.axeman9 wrote:You can only smoke Tobacco in c/shops which ahve a seperate area. I never said the mushroom ban was coming into effect July 1. I just wanted to know where you got your info on the December date. I'm guessing that your info is as wrong as your saying no more smoking tobacco joints inside coffeeshops anymore. How about a link to back up your December date.

Bluebird Coffeeshop has a tobacco smoking area ready. Dolphins Coffeeshop will allow tobacco smoking downstairs. Susies Saloon has a separate room ready for joints. The Paradiso is enclosing a small room for smoking of cannabis or tobacco. The Melkweg will stamp your hand and let you smoke outside during shows and on their late night dance nights, they will open up the upstairs cafe for smoking cannabis or tobacco.axeman9 wrote:.There are quite a few places that will have smoking areas for tobacco joints so your comment is wrong
Could you enlighten me then, and tell me where please? I smoke cigarettes, and tobacco in joints. So a few places names wouldn't go amiss.
Cheers
Axeman
"About 24 other coffeeshops in the Amsterdam area have created smoking areas says the owner of the 420 Coffeeshop. "Michael Veling, spokesman for the Cannabis Retail Association which represents some 110 coffee shops mainly in Amsterdam and surrounding areas, did not think the ban would greatly affect his business as most of his customers bought cannabis to take home.
He said only about two dozen of his members had created separate spaces for tobacco smokers, adding that he would not: "I don't see the benefits of it."

Since the ban does not take effect until tomorrow, I will provide you with a larger list in the next few weeks.
