go try the fry dude on the side of the westerkerk.....fries are tasty and he's a cool dude......he was spot on ripping the residents of my home town, which he visited....

They may be good, but they're not French fries. Rather Vlaamse Frites, which are Belgian actually. There you go, you learn something new every day :D

I've only tryed them with the peanut butter sauce,
they were pretty good, belive it or not. 8)

Some of the best frites I've had were in Vancouver. with a tasty gravy sacue, yum....drool....drool.

thanx for the cool info Ash, ive had these before but cant remember where the stand was, i think it was on the corner of Damrak or maybe theres one on Damrak and Oudebrugsteeg, or maybe both :lol:

my favorite is not on your list

i absolutely love a mix of mayo, ketchup and the chopped onions. ooh man that shit is good.

and geoffk.... you should try the fries with gravy and cheese! we call it a poutine... just amazing... and how come i find myself talking about food on this forum lately.. hahha up in most of the ski resorts in canada fries and gravy or poutine are very popular.

I've had fries with a wonderful chicken-stock-based gravy in Spain. Excellent.

patat oorlog is where its at!

vlamse frites with satay sauce (peanut based) AND dutch mayonnaise (nothing like that digusting hellmans shit)

do try it if you havent, its amazing and will only set you back a couple of euros.

i vote for kcp (heinz)!

tho... i have my own thing going and it kicks ass.

50% ketchup (heinz) + 40% mayo (thomy) + 10% muster (local best)

try it out u wont b sorry
