Chelsea looked a different class yesterday, wonderful passing, Deco and Lamps looked v good indeed. Joe Cole looked full of confidence alos.

Arsenal Liverpool and Manure all looked a bit rusty imo. Manu need a striker (cambell a starter?) and arsenal need midfielders (Eboue CM and Toure right wing - wtf?). Liverpool would be foolish to let Alonso go.

Good to have the footy back though!

Only premership team to win the world cup, and one of the only real family clubs left in london.

Though I do hope you stay down in the lower leagues, we don't need your sort in Europe again! Heh heh heh.#

We'll win the Prem though who's gonna stop us? Certainly not Liverpool, Arsenal are too lightweight, so its down to Chelsea *yawn* bring it on, someones gotta break that record you've got going playing at your shed.

The goal tevez scored to keep us up against u bloomin northerners was probably my best football moment ever.

So how about the transfer window then guys?

Biggest shock had to be Robinho going to Man City especially with their next league game against Chelsea.

No surprise that Man U signed Berbatov although I dont think he's done anything to justify such a big transfer fee.

Totally agree with you there, I couldn't understand all the "will they/won't they" crap about him. Seems to me half of the transfer speculation is stirred up by agents to raise player's profiles.

Then again, what do I know, I support Cov City.

MANCHESTER UNITED!!!!

My team for all those who care to listen! And no I'm not originally from manchester although I do have alot of family up there.

Berbatov's signing- great stuff! Watch us bring home all the silverware this season...mark my words.

And Robinho couldn't have made a worse career decision IMO. He left Madrid as he felt he couldn't be the best player in the world there. Ummm do you think your gonna be the best player in the world at man city mate?!? (As much as I hate 2 say it) He shoulda done himself a favour, gone to chelsea and surrounded himself with the kinda players that would push him &give him that competitive edge into improving and evolving into an even greater player.

Lets watch this space and see what trophies man city win this season.....

mate i totally agree.

c*nts like alex ferguson, and wenger, and that fat waiter in liverpool who openly would rather keep their players in the league really piss me off. (i prey scolari doesnt have this mentality, but as a former national coach i think he wont).

be it african nations, copa america, euros or any competition that involves national teams, the players should go. your country is a priority.
