off again 12-16 August

I'm Back over in the Nederlands for work so stopping on for a few days after works finished for a nice relaxing tokeathon. I'll be in Amsterdam from 12th - 16th August. Anyone else there is more than welcome to join me for a smoke and i'll try to report on the effect of the ban as i see it. My plan is to go over and try and have my usual 'normal' great time and see if the ban gets in the way of that at all!

I'll be there on the 12th and the 13th until the afternoon. I'd be up for a meet up to see how the ban is working out.

I hear you loud and clear on that! I'd probably say something like noon in the leidseplein on the 12th but whatever works is cool by me. I'll probably be up early to make the most of the time I've got in the Dam.

Sounds good to me, although as I am in town with my dad for my first 4 nights then it may be harder to keep to times during the day simply because I have no idea where we'll be (weather permitting).

So can I suggest a time in the evening around 8pm (or later) in De Kuil/420 or Nes if you prefer a beer on the 12th??

Hey,

My partner and i will be there from the 12th to the 15th. Having never been without a parent (me) and never at all (partner) it would be nice to meet with some people who are in the know!

Both 20, girl and a guy

Very friendly south england kinda folk, open to just chilling and seeing the sights

NES around 8 on the 12th sounds good to me. We'll figure out some kind of manner of recognizing each other. Odds are if you see a lanky white guy with glasses, dark hair and a camera at his side it'll be me. That is if I can manage not to lose the thing! My guess is that I'll have to tie it to myself as not to forget it anywhere...

Also, depending on their stance on tobac, I might be hanging around outside enjoying the tobacco my girlfriend (who won't be with me) hates so much!

Yeah guys don't think i'll get there till mid-afternnon on the 12th so it'd have to evening on that day - 8 at Nes sounds fine! Or any of you there later i'd be up for a mutual smoke on 13th/14th/15th?

Well I'll be in a mad dash for maximum consumption on the 13th because I fly out sometime in the late afternoon. Odds are it'll be like last time I left where I dumped the remaining gram of grey mist crystal in some yogurt and wolfed it down after burning through the rest of my gear. I had people in the airport chasing me down saying "Sir, I think you forgot your suitcase!" Thankfully this time I'll have a large backpack so I just won't take that sucker off.

I'm around on those days too so hopefully we will see each other on the 12th but would be up for a meet on the friday night (15th) as my old man will have gone home that day so i my plans are pretty open from then.

Nes is the name of the bar which used to be a coffeeshop. The street name is also called Nes, and it is near Dam Square, just walk south down Warmoesstraat in a straight line an once you cross Damstraat then you are almost there - although I have walked passed a few times I must admit I never been in the Nes in 10 trips to Amsterdam

But sounds like 8pm at Nes on the 12th is a done deal... for anyone wandering what I will look like, then here are a couple of pictures of what I will most likely be doing to help you recognise me...haha
