I've always wonder about the 'smoking ban' here in the USA

Hey,
I've always wondered about the 'smoking ban' that is going on in public places, including some cities are voting NO SMOKING in ANY building including restaurants and bars.
Let's just say...one day...(i hope) one day soon, marijuana is legalized in the US.. Well. there is still the 'Smoking ban' in businesses. If you have a "private" memebership club that you 'join', you can sidestep this law.
just a thought.
