Do you mean how was it? Not great. They always have it if that's what you mean.

For whoever it was that asked for a menu pick i forgot, but it was the usual except for peppermint kush and if I remember correctly chronic thunder. Didn't try either.

Gewapende Overval Coffeeshop Barney's Lounge

Twee mannen hebben rond 18:30 uur een gewapende overval gepleegd op
coffeeshop Barney's Lounge aan de Reguliersgracht.

De daders zijn nog voortvluchtig en zijn er met een onbekende buit vandoor gegaan.
De daders bedreigden het personeel met een wapen.
Een medewerker heeft ook een klap gekregen, maar raakte niet ernstig gewond.

De twee mannen zijn waarschijnlijk gevlucht in een klaarstaande auto,
laat een politiewoordvoerder aan AT5 weten.
De politie onderzoekt de zaak. Er is niemand aangehouden.

Armed robbery Coffeeshop Barney's Lounge

Two men at around 18: 30 hours committed an armed robbery on coffeeshop Barney's Lounge at the Reguliersgracht.

The perpetrators are still on the run and with an unknown amount taken.
The culprits threatened the staff with a weapon.
An employee has also been hit, but was not seriously injured.

The two men fled in a waiting car.
Police are investigating the case. There is no one arrested.

I remember that 2 different Greenhouse premises got robbed about 18 months ago not too long after each other
There was a shooting at deKroon not that long ago too but I think it was more of a 'gang' related dispute rather than a robbery.
Guess that 'cash only' deals over the counter makes many coffeeshops a potential target.

On a serious note that's some crazy shit, hope everyone involved is ok. As much as I hate the other branches of barneys with a passion, I have always liked this shop. Like the décor and chilled vibe (although not so chilled that day).

I visited on March 28th with very high expectations. To my complete dismay, the interior was redecorated. I don't like it at all.

Gone are the faux bamboo picture top tables. Hell, that's a poor description, but if you have been before, you know what I mean.

Gone was the steady flow of milkshakes. The milkshake machine was evidently broken.

Gone are the tables with plug-ins so you could Vape. Instead, you had to Vape at the wall mounted ledge near the bar and entrance.

Gone was the neat artwork with music; replaced with a television.

The BT was a very nice guy. The waitress was miserable and even said she was much happier working there with the different décor.

We did not stay long, which was a pity. At one time it was my favorite 'shop. Now . . . pass.
