Free films in the open-air
Pluk de Nacht

From 8 to 22 August, the harbour area is again the place to be for the free Pluk de Nacht film festival. The idea behind this festival is to show national and international films, shorts and documentaries that have not yet been seen in Dutch theatres, doing so in the open air. What's more, all the films will be in English or carry English subtitles.

Until 16 August, the outdoor location is Stenen Hoofd, the beach on the IJ, west of Central Station. The remaining days are in Timorplein in Amsterdam-Noord. All films begin around 21.30, no matter the weather.
