Free Ferry

Ive hear abot this ferry that goes from central-noord.
Never took it tho... wonder if any1 knows how it works.

You walk on and then the ferry goes to the other side and then you get off. I've never paid, I asked the ferry man and he told me "today it's free". I think he was being a wise guy and it's always free. You can take your bike, some nice riding over there. It's right behind the station, very easy to find.

Oh yeah just remembered; there are different ferries for different points

From Central Station, there is a western-drop-point ferry called Buikslooterwegveer (because the street it dumps onto is Buikslooterweg) and an eastern-drop-point ferry called Adelaarswegveer (dumps onto Adelaarsweg). The ferries are free.

One well-reviewed coffeeshop, 't Oooievaartje, which is listed in Kip's Top 40, is not far from the Adelaarswegveer drop point. You can get its address from the ACD web site.

Adelaarswegveer .... depending on the map... thats the yellowish ferry? :)
