Quick lesson in hasj (i.e block)

Hello fellow tokers

Right i've been to the Dam plenty of times before but ive always only ever smoked weed just like I do at home.

Since reading this website and it's forum i've realsied that my view that all solid hash is shite is rather misguided and infact incorrect.

So with the next dam trip just 3 weeks away I would like a quick lesson in block, sold, hash or hasj or whatever you call it so I can buy some quality stuff over thier.

So what is the difference between dark hash and 'blonde' hash if that is the right word.

All these different countries mentioned i.e moroc do these mean anything.

Is hash like weed i.e are their sativa and indica types one to get you high one to get you stoned.

What are the effects of good hash like is it similar to weed sorry for my ignorance but the only hash ive had is the crud you get here in newcastle with the bits of cling film stuck in it.

I too love real hash.

However I think you should choose wisely as I was very disappointed to be smoking henna in the 'dam of all places.

After getting fed up with most of the weed tasting of fertiliser, I bought some Leb from Dutch Flowers thinking that hey, it will at least be clean. Well, it might have been clean henna, but it sure as hell wasn't very nice. 7Euro/g

Next up, some Rifman. Had heard only good things about this and even double-checked the menu for the claim of being 'additive free' after spending 14Euro/g on the noor. Might have been passable without the henna.

At this point, i returned to the 'nl ice' i bought in Rusland which I hadn't thought was awful. After the previous two bits, it was apparent that this dutch ice had been doctored with henna too.

What's the problem? 5 Years ago I don't remember any such low-life activity. Can't say I'm that eager to go back again - unless I take my own of course.

ok 1st stop gettin imported dirt hash 2nd go for ice hash or bubble or budder or jelly 3rd look for names like sunburst ice, ssh ice, violator ice o lator,etc u cant go wrong an if u do its hopless find another hobby. hash is better then the weed its just u gotta find it BUSHDOCTORS OR G.H. OR MY AND BLUEBIRD, BUT RESIN C/S HAS HTE BEST I PERSONALLY THINK

there are several types of hash.

Afghani (black hash) which is my 2nd favourite hash, because of the spicy taste. its very soft and perfect for joints. you shouldnt pay more than 6-7€ for a g. of this.

Maroc, which if you find a real good sample is even better than the afghani, but usually is really shit in most countries since it is sold by bad people. a friend of mine brought some back from marocco and I was amazed by the spicy taste and the great high. Go to Dampkring for the Rifman hash, they should be the closest to the original you get in marocco.

the ice-hashes are very expensive in coffeeshops. Try it once, its a cool experience, but for me this isnt the real thing....too expensive.

Sorry guys if you missed my point im not interested in the ice hash well I am and I will be having some but this topic is about the bog standard hash i.e 15 e and less.

So Afgani is black and maroc is blonde ?

Deffo sounds like rifman is the way to go

Afghani isn't very tasty in my opinion, I wouldn't waste the money on the Rifmans either, head to Basjoe and get some of the standard Polm or Paradox for the Chocolata which is a darker morrocan, these are both quite light effect hashes, if you're after a more sit down stone then head to Stix for the Nepalese Temple Ball and dont waste your money on the Iceolators yes they're very strong but the majority lack flavour and (in my humble opinion of course) are a waste of money.

you know polm is maroccon hash as well? its just pressed different

Yes which is why I said the Chocolata was a darker morrocan, the polm at Basjoe is about €7 a gram compared to the 12,13,14+ euro a gram they charge for the Rifmans.
