Showcasing top-level racing, the iShares Cup Extreme 40 Sailing Series attracts some of the worlds best Olympic, round the world, America's Cup and solo sailors,
who go head-to-head on open sea, picturesque lakes and restricted canals.
The grand finale of the iShares Cup is set to take place this weekend in Amsterdam. Ten ‘Extreme 40s’ (light-weight 40-foot long catamarans) will take to unbelievable speeds across
the waters of the IJ River. Races take place every afternoon at 13:00 from Friday to Sunday, and are held close enough to land to yield some phenominal views.
