Whats the Soup Kitchen like? I've walked past there but never been in...
In answer to the people ridiculing us for buying McDonald's/Febo - I don't really remember the justification for buying that burger, but I was starving, it was 11.30pm and I saw the golden arches, I don't remember what I had, or if I got my change lol, but all was good coz I was in amsterdam with the muchies which must be a good thing

No Victim? No Crime.
Never eatem in the Soup Kitchen myself but everyone I know that has done has said it's very nice, you get a big piece of home-made bread to dunk, it's always on the 'to eat' list but other things seem to come first, hopefully next time I'm in town I'll remember and try it myself.

I think its the faceless-ness of an institution like Maccy D's & KFC etc that people appreciate on a stoners holiday. A quite cafe or sit down restaurant with authentic Dutch waiters and authentic dutch attitudes (towards UK and US tourists) can seen a bit intimidating when utterly cained. (Personally I have been a vege most of my life and only step into Mac Donald’s to use their shitter.)
I prefer La Place for a face-less lunch, or just some ‘pissy chips’ off the dam rak…
