UK Reclassification Date Confirmed as January 26th, 2009

The Home Secretary has recommended that cannabis should be reclassified to a Class B drug.

A parliamentary order has been submitted to reclassify the drug to Class B. The change is expected to come into law 26 January 2009.

they don't care if its pilitical suicide....as they know they're out as soon as an election is called (something brown refuses to call because he knows he's the most unpopular P.M. in 60 years).....same tactic they used in the 70's......bullshit and scorched earth and then blame the next lot in power for the state of the country for the next ten years

Our government seem to bow only to the might of the Daily Mail readership! And according to the Daily Mail, in Afghanistan, the Taliban are processing cannabis leaves into heroin. (This was actually printed in their newspaper!)

I always wondered what on earth we were doing in Afghanistan, but now it all makes so much sense...

If it is, people reading the paper should have more sense. They should be pulled and fined for printing absolute rubbish.

Next they'll be getting methamphetamine out of weed by adding 'Ice' to the soil.
