Image I think FBN had some pics of a cool park in the south of central Haarlem that looked like a nice place to smoke. Weather permitting. I've been to the WW Indica and Theehuis. Both were nice, better seating at WW. I've heard good things about Birdy

FBN also once had a copy of the same map with several more coffeeshops noted on it.

I'd suggest finding C/S Regine and getting the 5g Regine Special, if it's still available.

As long as you know the address of the Haarlem coffeeshops you may wish to visit, (which should be easy to find via links on this website) then the solution is quite easy to find them.

For goto google maps find the location of Haarlem and input the address of a given coffeeshop your looking for. Then either print a Harrlem map in anvance of locating the coffeeshops and mark them on your main map or use the google maps address search bar to find the location and mark them on any Haarlem map you have.

In February I took the 15 minute train ride to Haarlem from Amsterdam and rented a bicycle at the Haarlem train station (just to the right about 10 yards as you exit the front door of the station) for only 8 euros for the day. I spent the day riding all over Haarlem. It was one of the highlights of my trip. About 10 minutes from the station by bike and you will come to about the center of Haarlem which is the marketplace and you can get to almost anywhere in Haarlem in ten to 15 minutes from there. The bicycle is the perfect, most enjoyable mode of transportation for such a charming town. I had a good, refreshing workout bicycling around Haarlem and I slept well that night.

The WW Shops are good, and the WW Sativa is only a few minutes from the station, but you can see a list of quite a few Haarlem shops if you look under Haarlem in The Directory on this website.

Correction: The bike rental place at the Haarlem train station is to the LEFT as one goes out the station's front door, not to the right.

Yes, the tourist center is to the right, but when I inquired in the tourist center originally as to where to rent a bicycle, the girl in there did not mention the bike rental in the train station, but rather told me to rent one at the marketplace in the center of town. She also sold me a Haarlem map for 2 euros that I didn't need, as I had the Coffeeshop maps which were just as good for finding coffeeshops. I was told by other locals to just rent the bike at the station as it was more convenient and for 8 euros it couldn't be beat, which is what I did.
